The guy standing next to Ash is planning on making his appearance in a later fic. In fact, he's already appeared in Psychic Phenomenon as Sabrina's boyfriend. I think he's so kyoot! Current Status: I desire the next chance to play Psychonauts again. Seeing as how I can't until Thanksgiving break, I can only contend myself with working on Psychonaut drabbles which will likely never reach other human eyes.Fave pairings: I would never be able to list all of the pairings I like, and I can't even give a general description of what I like. It all changes based on the fandom. For example, Raz/Sasha (Psychonauts) makes me cringe even when Raz is portrayed as 17 and older, while over-17!Arnold/Ms. Frizzle (Magic School Bus) is all the rage in my head. Angemon/Angewomon and Takari (both of Digimon) used to whet my whistle, but now TK/Angemon and Myotismon/Angemon catch my fancy. And don't get me started on my Meowth/Mewtwo ideas... I'm seriously considering writing a personal shipping list and shipping preference list at livejournal and then linking it over here. Favorite Characters: Same as with above; I'd never be able to list them all. Though I see a pattern with liking nerdy/glasses-wearing/sexy-voiced/accented/long-haired and/or deep characters. I may also have to create a character list on livejournal for this part too. Other fic-related stuff: I do not believe in flaming over pairings. While it's true that I don't particularly fancy reading select few pairings (such as pedo and incest), I believe that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and likes, especially when they deal with fictional characters on a fanfiction site. If I don't like a particular pairing, I either avoid the fic or hit the "Back" button up in the left-hand corner of the window. See? Problem resolved, and nobody comes back at you for flaming their stuff over a silly thing like pairings. Also, constructive criticism should be considered. A flame is by no means helpful; most if not all deal with attacking the author instead of the work, and don't give a general idea as to what is wrong with the fic. Concrit will offer advice that is helpful, and for the "serious" writers here, a polite review is both helpful and mood-boosting. New: Link for all those curious about my fanfiction habits. (Or here if the previous link doesn't work: http://ringtailer720.livejournal.com/4186.html ) Cutting Room Floor: (Fics I plan on fixing up eventually so they don't have the feel of being written by a novice) Digi Hallows Eve (Digimon): I'm currently stalled on the reworking of this, since I'm not in the Digi-mood at the moment. I've made a decent plot for it, made some major changes to the first two chapters, and will completely change the major portion of the work. Consider it a parody fic of the dub version and it could possibly work; I'm not pleased with it as is though. It will remain up as is during the editing process. Psychic Phenomenon (Pokemon): This is the fic that I'm currently interested in reworking. I've created a new plot skeleton, jotted down some bits that I want to include, and have written new material for it. This has now become the one thing besides oneshots I'm working on heavily. Other Fic News: Psychonauts plot bunnies are currently nibbling away in my brain (LOL, irony much?). Two at the moment, though that is liable to change. I haven't played past the last part of the Brain Tumbler experiment (fighting the brain), but I've watched my brother play a good portion of the Asylum levels and have read pretty much any/all spoilers to be had. I like comedy, as one can tell by looking at the genre of my fics. While I do enjoy angst in small doses, I love the "pick me up" that humor provides; the silver lining to the clouds in life. Even in my "dramatic" works, I use comic relief for the tension-relief. I enjoy cartoons, certain books (I'm very picky with books), and of course fanfiction.
