Author has written 109 stories for Stargate: SG-1, StarTrek: Enterprise, Farscape, X-Files, Star Wars, Roswell, StarTrek: Voyager, StarTrek: The Original Series, StarTrek: Other, Harry Potter, Quantum Leap, Supernatural, and Dark Angel. So, apparently my MO for updating my profile is every three or four years... oh well. Here goes. Yep... still a fanficoholic. Still consider scifi fans my favorite people. Still appreciate all the reviews from readers. Now I know why I never update my profile, because nothing has changed! Since this has come up enough, I guess I should go ahead and put this here so it's right there in black and white for all to see: Traversing the world of fandom, some of you may have noticed others posting their own fics that either borrow my characters/plots or act as a continuation of my stories all together. I know I have been approached by about half a dozen fellow fanfic authors asking if they could do this with my permission, so just a quick clarification. Those who have emailed me asking if they could use my stories/characters/ideas have all been given permission to do so. I don’t mind people writing from my work or borrowing my characters. All I ask of my fellow fanfic authors if they wish to use my work to fuel their own is that they put in an author’s note that they got the inspiration from me/my work. Personally, I don’t think that’s asking much. As long as a fanfic author will credit/acknowledge me and my story when they borrow from it, I am more than happy for them to play in my sandbox. I had fun with fandom, and others should, too. I like to be linked the story someone else has written from my work because I like to check them out, but I don’t need to be linked. If you want to use my work in your own stories, just please credit me and my story in your author’s note then feel free to go ahead and have fun.
