Hiya. I'm just a seventeen-year-old girl who loves to write. I generally do fanfiction because I'm too lazy to think up entire universes for my stories to take place in. I like to take imperfections in situations that already exist (in my eyes, at least) and work them out.

Okay, I'm lazy. And I'm characterised by long periods of writer's block interspersed with random bursts of inspiration. So sometimes I can't write a word for weeks, and sometimes there's so much I want to write that I can barely drag myself off the computer and to bed. So my updating is extremely erratic too. Just ask the people who follow my fics, bless 'em.

It might be worthy of note that I'm a mild homophobe--I respect homosexuality as a perfectly viable personal choice and I think it's nothing to be ashamed of, much less banned, but I have to admit seeing homosexual displays of affection makes me uncomfortable. So ... I don't really approve of yaoi and yuri pairings.

I'm ethnically Chinese, but I AM NOT FROM CHINA. I've never even been to the place. I'm fairly proficient in English (it's my best language, actually), as anyone who's read my fics will attest to, and I also study Japanese as a foreign language at a fairly advanced level. But I'm hopeless without a two-way dictionary, so never mind. I took a year of French back in secondary school, but all I really remember is a bunch of random words and how to pronounce most French things. Oh, and I'm not so culturally deprived as to be illiterate in Chinese. In fact it kinda helps me with my Japanese; I can usually guess word meanings through the kanji.

(pimps) They're my favourite j-rock band, and the japanese version of their name is シド (SHIDO). They have lots of beautiful songs, and the vocalist is really good-looking. Heheh. For those who like Kuroshitsuji, they also did the opening theme, "Monokuro no Kiss". And the ending theme "Uso" for the second season of Fullmetal Alchemist too!
