Hello all you happy people! You may see and appreciate my Harry Potter stories - I love them too, but as fair warning, like most serious writers here, my original works have hijacked my fanfiction bunnies and stuffed them in a closet, but many have summary notes in my files. If I get bored, one or another may get hauled out and fixed back up again. My current project, Those-Who-Lived, is complete and will continue to be posted on a weekly basis (give or take a day or two in case I forget). Anything else ... you have my apologies.

I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian.
I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman.
I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights.
We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time.
I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room.
I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me.
I am the girl whose friends no longer let me hug them when I told them I was bisexual.
I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again.
I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear.
We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men.
I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me.
I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman.
I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman.
I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male.
I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men.
I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that.
I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual.
I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I did not have to always deal with society hating me.
I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.
I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.
I am the person who is afraid of telling his loving Christian parents he loves another male.
I am the boy who never finished high school because I got called a fag every day.
I am the person ashamed to tell my own friends I'm a lesbian because they constantly make fun of them.
I am the boy tied to a fence, beaten to a bloody pulp and left to die because two straight men wanted to, "teach me a lesson."

Re-post this if you believe homophobia is wrong. Please do your part to end it.

To those who may notice that I neglect disclaimers on my stories headings: If you cannot figure out from the fact that you are on a FAN-fiction site -meaning nigh everything here is not the writers full original brainchild save a few OCs- then I shall make it plain. I lay claim to shit that you may recognize from any presently published book and/or movie unless I take my time to state otherwise in the story. If you don't recognize it, it means it likely came out of my head. Capiche? You get it? If not, take this boot to the head, and my most fervent curses. Try reading a little farther into story descriptions, would you?

ahem

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED. (and will be greeted with happy smiles and acknowledgement) I really want to hear what my readers think of my stories, because it will help me to write better in nearly every way. If you ever feel confused about how something worked out the way it did, just speak up and I will try and flesh it out for you. I will have no clue you were confused if you don't mention it, and very possibly someone else was as confused as you were. It may be a little hard for me to correct it, as I'm not currently posting until I have the year complete, but I can certainly try and/or elaborate in a relpy or A/N. Confusing you is not intentional (except in a few spots, where you get to wait for an explanation later) But you don't know if that's a plot point or not till you ask. If you find a discrepancy in one of my stories, feel free to politely point it out. I would appreciate it; I don't mean to confuse you, it just may end up happening, and it just may not be intentional. Even pointing it out if it were intentional makes me feel good, because it means I succeeded at least partially.

NOTE: February 19 2009

Guess what, guess what? Weekly updates have commenced (for a few weeks now, actually...)

I decided I should probably update this to match my current place... I have started sixth year. Prepare to be hit with violence, sex, and politics - if you hadn't figured that out already. I didn't rate it mature just to be contrary, and don't accuse me of escalating really slowly. Most young people don't get into big trouble, or at least we don't like seeing them in it. But fifteen/sixteen - fair game. Try not to offend yourselves, and please, do let me know what you think - I'll even take flames quite happily and ensconce them to review later on. They make me feel special.

And again, to repeat, I have put up the oneshots I currently have for Those-Who-Lived. If, while reading, you find something mentioned that you'd like to see in more detail feel free to bring it to my attention. I would like to know what interests my readers, and am perfectly happy to work on what is mentioned, if it will not be elaborated later in the story. It may take me some time to get around to it - currently, my original works have tied up most of my fanfiction bunnies and stuffed them in a closet, but this still holds a special place for me - and reviews make me want to work on it even more.

Thank you to everyone who reads this, and thank you very much to everyone who does review my story!

P.S. (Apr 15, 2009) ~I am on a rewrite kick for TWL. Anything you feel should be fixed/elaborated/changed, feel free to bring it to my attention. Opinions are always worthwhile.
