UPDATE (Feb 10/13) Devil's Sway is on hiatus until further notice. Sorry to keep everyone waiting but due to some things going on in my personal life, I don't have any extra time for the story right now.

UPDATE (Aug 25/11) Could it be . . .? Yes! Yes it is! I have finally begun the Devil's Smile sequel! The first chapter Devil's Sway went up today, and I'm really excited to be back in the Bleach world. I was originally planning to recreate the [SPOILERS!] return of Ichigo's power without any of that Fullbring crap -- but then Kubo finally came through! Then I was going to wait for more details on Ichigo's return to Shinigami-hood, except apparently I am not that patient. I am just way too excited to get this baby moving! Let's hope I can keep up the momentum.

UPDATE (Aug 17/11) So I've been promising the Devil's Smile sequel, Devil's Sway, for a while now. I actually started writing it. And then Tite Kubo threw a plot-shattering wrench into my plans with the latest Bleach chapter. Now that the awful "Fullbring" arc seems to be coming to a close, I don't want to scrap the canon as I was planning. I like canon. (Normally.) So what now? I need to see what happens in the manga, and possibly re-plot the beginning of the sequel. That means the sequel will be coming in the fall instead of the summer, but I am really excited for the chance to get back on track with the canon. Fingers crossed that Bleach is making an epic comeback!

Perhaps the most important question I can ask myself is, why do I write? I write because I love to. It's that simple. I don't write for fame and glory (meaning reviews ;-), I don't write to please my readers (sorry guys), I write just for me. I write the story as I want it to happen, I develop the characters in the way I want them to go, and I end the story in the way I want it to end. I post my writing because I love sharing my passion and getting feedback, and I know how much I enjoy reading, and I hope that other people well find some enjoyment from reading my writing. And if it so pleases you, review my story, just so I know that you're out there, but I'm not going to beg for reviews, or force readers into it. It's your choice, just as it's my choice to write.
