My name's David.
I am a combat veteran of the war in Iraq currently continuing service on a Global War on Terrorism (if you believe in that sort of thing). In my spare time, such as it is, I write Fanfics. Thank you for taking the time to read and review my stories. I really appreciate it deeply in my heart and I hope you enjoy them. I mostly write comic book and Dungeons and Dragons related fanfiction that draws on my own experiences for inspiration... but don't we all?
Story updates:
JLA: Truth and Justice: New Story! I will be writing about the untold history of the Justice League from their humble beginnings to the eventsexplored inthe Infinity Crisis. Please read the prologue and let me know what you think of the introduction.
Captain America: Sentinal of Liberty - While the Avengers and X-men were locked in a battle for the ages the Sinister Syndicate fell to the might of the Defenders. Captain America, however, has taken a brief moment from his quest to unmask the Crimson Cowl. He is about to face a challange greater then any that he has ever known... facing a woman named Bernie Rosenthal.
Smallville: The Darkest Night - While the Kents care for a still unconsious young man named Harold, Clark foils an assault on one of his classmates. Little does he know, however, that the classmate he saved has found the most powerful weapon in the universe; a ring to rule them all.
Avengers: The Nail - The Avengers are Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but what use is all their might without leadership? In a wold where Captain America was never an Avenger the remaining heroes must find the courage to face the most powerful foe that they have ever encountered... the hatred of the human race.
Moon Knight: Fallen - Fanfiction.net requested that I remove my Moon Knight story because it contained song lyrics. I bet all those people who have been writing songfics are hitting the roof. Ido not think that it is a malicious act to promote the work of others as long as you appropriatly attribute it to them, but guess who isn't in charge of this site... yep... you guessed it. I am going to remove the offending lyrics and repost this story soon. While I'm at it... I better rename it.
Scarlet Spider: Lost Years -The clone of Peter Parker lost everything, even his own sense of identity. Now his only home is the road, but where will that road take him? (I'm open to suggestions)
All other stories: On the back burner. I am completely and totally stuck or plan not to update them (Like Waterdeep Nights, which was always supposed to be a short story).
"These are the times that try men's souls. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered: our consolation is that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph."
