Author has written 13 stories for Back to the Future, Harry Potter, and Scrubs. God, I hate writing these things. My profiles always sound so stilted and awkard. I may as well start with the basics... My name is Roisin, I am eighteen and Irish. I was now born in Belfast in 1990 and I now live in the boggy, wet north-west of Ireland. There are a lot of cows. I told you I was bad at writing these things. Ahem...I have just finished my Leaving Cert exams and secondary school and...I got accepted into the English course I wanted! I really didn't expect to get into it, so obviously I'm well pleased. But I haven't actually started college yet. I'm kind of both excited and terrified. I have one dog and three cats. I cuddle them but they don't cuddle back. I've played the piano since I was six but, playing Irish music on the concertina is easier and more fun, and I sometimes play in music sessions in pubs. Also, I'm supposed to be learning the fiddle now, but I'm not making much progress. My fandoms include Back to the Future, His Dark Materials, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Discworld and Scrubs. All of my BTTF fics are on hiatus for a while because Scrubs has invaded my head and won't get out. That's only part of the reason. Mostly it's because I start a fic and write a few chapters then realise that I should have actually drawn up a plot instead of rushing blindly into the fic. Anyway, unless sudden inspiration hits me they're unlikely to be finished anytime soon. It's kind of ironic, because the reason I write fanfic is because I'm so bad at drawing up a coherent plotline for original fic. Sigh. | |||||||||
