update... er update. that is, the update on the lack of updates. I thought summer would allow more time for writing, but so far, there's just been a tremendous amount of upheaval. I'm dealing with some major life decisions here, and I need to be ready to act when the time comes. without giving away too many personal details, let's just say I've been busy on other projects.

I haven't forgotten this story, and write every chance I get, but unfortunately, I can't seem to finish the next chapter. It's in the works, though, and soon (hopefully) I'll have something for you.
