Author has written 8 stories for Harry Potter, Beyblade, and Gundam Wing/AC.

I am:

~ A writer

~ A fangirl… of the yaoi persuasion

~ Completely deranged

~ A staunch KaRe supporter…KaTy should be shot…TyKa should be shot again…nothing personal

~ A firm believer that Draco and Harry are made for each other, and J.K.Rowling just won’t write it because she made the mistake of entering Harry Potter into the children’s genre

I will be:

~ The supreme ruler of the universe

~ …someday

~ Slaughtered by my mother before I graduate unless I watch it

~ Eternally grateful that Aoki Takao brought Beyblades into existence…and furthermore, that he abolished the Kai/Tyson idea …there is a god

~ Forever bitter that Harry Potter IS in fact a children’s book

Thoughtful insights into the truth of the world

For the Beyblade fans:

Kai/Rei = KaRe

Kai/Tyson = KaTy

…Word

For the Gundam Wing fans:

Heero gave Relena a teddy bear at the end of the series…but we all know he’s been giving Duo head since the beginning.

For the Harry Potter fans:

Why would Harry sleep with Ginny when he’s got DRACO MALFOY flexing muscles at him. Who needs romance when you can have angry hate secks followed by romance? Harry so left Ginny for Draco. He just TOLD her he was protecting her

Navigating FanFiction.net for Newbies: A Guide

Leaving good reviews:

You know, it’s funny the kind of values that constantly pop up in a person. For example, several authors I’ve talked to through Fanfiction.net agree with me when I say; a story is worth giving a look if it has an average of 10 reviews. From my perspective as a writer: I feel most appreciated when a lengthy review is left. None of this: ‘wow’, ‘cool’ ‘more’ crap. I know I spend a great deal of my time, pondering on how I could possibly be better at what I do. I believe I am getting better, but there’s only so much an author can do to better themselves without the views and perspectives from other people; people who have never met them, and therefore are less likely to mince words to ‘lessen the blow’ so to speak. So when leaving a review, my dear friends, do not be afraid to tell a person if you liked something, and particularly, if you don’t like something.

And yet, I find myself being a wee bit hypocritical in that respect: when a good idea is stumbled upon, it is often copied several times over, and if the writer is ingenious enough, they can smother the original plot with enough originality that it actually interests readers. Like getting a piece of charred toast, and smothering it with jam to mask the flavor. Now at the other end of the spectrum, you have people who read a story, think; ‘wow, that’s fantastic’ and then toddle off and write their own version of that exact stories, copying everything down to some of the same sentences. Believe you me, it does happen. Now when this happens, under my own words I should be clicking in all haste to leave them a review politely pointing out the similarity and suggesting that they perhaps steer clear of the exact same plot developments as their peer. Yet, regrettably, it does not happen.

So, really what I’m saying is, try to be as blaringly honest as you possibly can be when leaving reviews. Not to the point of being rude/obnoxious/flaming. Employ a simple technique I like to call: Buttering it up. Say something nice about the fanfiction in question, then say something constructive/something you didn’t like, then say something nice again. If you have a lot of complaints, break them up with the occasional nice comment. And if that fails, fall back on that good old fashioned saying: If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all. As much as I’ve wanted to take that saying and shove it back down my mom’s throat at times, in cases like these (possible hurting of feelings so severe that you cause said person to get depression and commit suicide, denying the writer’s actual fans of further updates) perhaps it’s relevant.

You know your story’s successful when:

~You’ve gotten an average of ten reviews per chapter. This generally doesn’t count people like your friends, who are morally obligated to leave a review and gush about your work…nor, unfortunately, does it count flames.

~Said reviews are long. When you get long reviews, it means you’ve psyched a person up enough to make them hit that go button, and rant about how fantastic you’re writing is, how much they loved you’re plot development, how much they loved you’re characters, etc. Once again, this does not count if they are from you’re friends or from flamers.

~ And last, but not least, you know your story is successful when you yourself are liked as a writer. Often, people are turned off by rude responses to their constructive criticisms. If you get reviews that are playful and joking with you, it shows that a person is comfortable enough with you too feel they can say things and you won’t get offended and start shaming them. The last thing a person wants when they’ve taken the time to leave a review is for you to fire back at them for something they’ve said, especially in the form of copying and pasting that review into the front of you’re next chapter and shaming everything they’ve had to say.

Differentiating between Flames and Constructive Criticism and how to deal with them:

You can tell the difference between a flame and constructive criticism quite easily actually. You’re CC will generally end with something nice like: ‘despite, I’m looking forward to more’ or ‘good job anyway’. You’re best bet as a writer, is to take on what they’ve said and try to improve. A flamer will tend to target you as a person, or the subject you’re writing about. In this case, all you have to do is write back and say that you appreciate their opinion, as it is there’s, but that you will continue writing. The best thing to do is be polite and you’ll generally tick them off or confuse them. Either way, you’ll be getting the last laugh.

My Stories:

WIP

HP: Taking What's Mine: The Niartesac Disease was named after the village it had originated from. Extremely rare, it was caused by an overload of magic in the body. Teliot's Crown Prince has the disease and Voldermort wants him because of it. Prince Harry! Bandit Draco! Slash AU.

Currently my longest running fanfiction to date. All other ones written before this one were, dare I say it, Het and primarily James/Lily ones. And they were a particularly heinous breed of…well just plain bad writing. For anyone’s who interested, this plot (if my memory serves me correctly) was first concocted in the school library. A very long time ago. And I do believe; quite a lot of the original plot is still standing. Of course one of my main motivations in writing this was to blatantly pair Harry and Draco up in one of those annoyingly distinguished relationships. Where you can instantly spot who the Sub is basically…that and I wanted to kill Cho Chang painfully and Draco had to become a little more ruthless than he was in the sixth book in order for that to work out nicely. I think I’m going to officially denounce Draco’s existence in the sixth book. Except for when he was getting petted by Pansy on the train. Because that was just too cute.

BB: Angels Fall First: In an alternate universe the Bladebreakers never won the World Championships in Moscow. Russia is a very different place and it’s a race against time for the remaining BBA bladers to stop the Biovolt Corporation, The Demolition Boys and Kai. Slash AU

I really like this one. It was my first Beyblade fanfiction and while it’s not as loved as Taking What’s Mine, it’s certainly a lot of fun to work on. It was inspired by a fanfiction I vaguely remember reading with a foursome between Kai, Tala, Bryan and Rei after the world championships. Tyson and Max were dead. Maybe that was why I like it so much. Tyson was dead. I love him really, but he’s one of those characters you just hate to love.

BB: The International Boys School for Excellence: Rei Kon has never gone to school in his life. He's been home schooled. Until that fateful phone conversation that changes everything. Now he must deal with the egotistical Head Boy: Kai and a school full of hormone filled boys! Eek. AU, Slash

The back story to this one is based around my school. So, as I’m always warning, it’s really a mixture of my (all girl’s grammar) school, the boys school on the other side of the city and just whatever fits in with my plot best. It’s proving to be a lot of fun though because it’s my first shot at humor! Turning out all right and I think quite a lot of Rei's character follows my thought process, only its the other way around for him. He's a nice guy but he has a nasty streak that rarely lets out. I'm a nice girl, but my nasty streak is always visible. :: insert evil chuckle ::

GW: Say You Love Me: Duo Maxwell’s only chance at a free life is by convincing the Elven Princes of the Free Kingdoms to shelter him. Unfortunately Prince Heero Yuy is disagreeable on his good days. Slash AU 1x2 4x3 6x2

My first Gundam Wing fanfiction. Woot, go me! And hopefully a successful shot at something nice and emotionally scarring. On the second chapter at the moment and I'm having lots of fun with Duo who is and inheritely Uke-y character but I intend to make him completely and utterly Seme like until Heero appears on the scene to stutter Duo's confidence into a gooey uke-y puddle. :: grin ::
