I'm an 18 year old female who is currently in university who likes reading, art, anime, travel and an odd assortment of other things. I've been writing fanfiction on the site for about five years now and I work mostly in the Tamora Pierce Immortals section though I've been expanding into the Final Fantasy VII section lately. For those of you who are interested in The Immortals and more specifically the pairing of Daine/Numair I have a forum called the D/N Writer's Faction that's dedicated expanding that fandom and inspiring writers of that fandom. It can be a lot of fun when people get involved so you should go check it out if you're interested :) I also recently decided to put myself out there to beta other fics, if you're interested in that PM me or check out my beta profile or both. Fandoms I frequent: The Immortals (Daine/Numair), Harry Potter (Lupin/Tonks) (Severus/Hermione (pure guilty pleasure)), Final Fantasy VII (Yuffie/ Vincent). Favourite Books: The Immortals, Harry Potter, The Time Traveler's Wife, The Books of Pellinor, Southern Vampire Novels, Fruits Basket (manga), Vampire Knight (manga). Favourite Shows: Bones, Arrested Development, Angel, Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Grey's Anatomy, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fruits Basket, Bleach Favourite Games: FF= Final Fantasy. FFVII, FFVIII, FFX, Kingdom Hearts I & II, The World Ends With You, Pokemon (oh yeah...I went there) Works in Progress Here's some information about what I'm working on now in regards to how they are coming along and updates. The Immortals The Morning After: I'm trying very hard to begin writing in advance and so far am doing alright. This fic should be updated every Monday. Surrender: I write this fic as I get inspiration for it since it's a collection of one-shots so I can't give you a definite update schedule. I am still working on it though. How We Began: This one is kind of along the same lines of Surrender except for that I'm very stuck with it and haven't had any inspiration for it lately. I promise I will finish it at some point but it may be a while before it gets going again. Musings: Again I write these as the inspiration strikes. They're just drabbles though so to date I've been getting a few out every week. All in all there are 99 prompts to write from. Nothing Important Happened Today: I am hesitant to call this 'in-progress' even though I haven't officially finished it. As of now I have no plans to continue it but considering the nature of the fic I am keeping it open so that if inspiration does strike me I can add on. It's very possible that I will come up with some more chapters in the distant future though they might not connect with the story I have to date...I have some thinking to do about that. Final Fantasy VII Hold Me Against the Light: Temporary Hiatus. I greatly stress the temporary factor of this, I will finish it. I am simply to caught up in my Immortals works to give it the attention it deserves. I also feel that it needs to be completely written out before I start posting again to avoid plot gaps and make it flow as well as possible. As of now I plan to devote my attention to this when I finish The Morning After, not when that fic is all posted but when I finish writing it. I would say that it shouldn't be longer than another month before I start seriously working on this one again. Upcoming Projects Here are some of the ideas I've had that I have decided to definitely write and you should look for in the future. The Immortals One shots: Legann: Rating M. A take on Daine and Numair's last night together before they split up to fight their own battles at the end of RotG. Our Lady of the Wild: Rating T. Takes place years after RotG in an AU where Daine disappeared during the Immortals war. Takes place from a side characters point of view as they observe Numair and speculate over what happened to her. What Did You Say? (Tentative Title): An expansion of chapter 6 of my fic Musings. Realization (Tentative Title): An expansion of chapter 10 of my fic Musings. Full Length Fics: Undercover (Tentative Title): Most likely rated M. An AU where Daine and Numair never got together and are sent undercover as a married couple to investigate disappearances on the Scanran (most likely) border. This currently is second to last on my to-do list. Modern Re-write: A re-write of my first fic Modern. It won't change storyline and would basically just be to fix the numerous grammatical errors and flow issues. This is currently last on my to-do list. Untitled Series: I will do a series of 4 or 5 fics filling in the time between the books and perhaps extending past them some. This will be a big project and one that I intend to begin when I complete Hold Me Against the Light. It will involve a lot of fact-checking and a lot of utilizing my forum for answers on certain ambiguous points. Hopefully some friendly fellow authors will help me with it. I'm very excited about this project though it will be a long time before anything is posted. Final Fantasy VII Nothing at the moment...sorry :( If anyone has any questions about any of my fics (new or old) don't hesitate to PM me or E-mail me (If you e-mail me please include your FF.net penname though so I know what's going on :p).
