Author has written 10 stories for Labyrinth, Phantom of the Opera, Tomb Raider, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars, and Doctor Who. Hmm, I've been writing on here for quite a while now, so I guess I should actually do something for this profile! That is if anyone ever looks at them. I do, but then I'm nosy. My name is Beth. I am 22 (as of 2008) and I live in England in a town about an hour away from London. I have just left university with a degree in English (that's the literature, not the language. I already speak that!). I live with my parents and 18-year-old brother, Richard, who is currently obsessed with Sweeney Todd. I am planning to move in with a friend in the near future when we both have money! I am planning to write fics for the following: More of the above, Sleepy Hollow, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Ever After, Corpse Bride, Fairy Tales Favourite pairings: STAR WARS - Sabé and Obi-Wan Mara and Luke Padmé and Anakin Dormé and Anakin/Vader Leia and Han CORPSE BRIDE - Victor and Victoria Bonejangles and Emily Bonejangles and pretty much anyone really. Gotta love a jazzy skeleton in a bowler :) TOMB RAIDER - Lara Croft and Chase Carver (from the comics) Lara and Kurtis Trent Lara and Alister Fletcher (what? I liked him!) PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN - Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann Will Turner and anyone who gets him out of Jack and Lizzy's way :) PHANTOM OF THE OPERA - Erik and Christine LABYRINTH - Jareth and Sarah LORD OF THE RINGS - Éowyn and Gríma (but I like Faramir too!) DOCTOR WHO - Rose and the Doctor, preferably 10 SLEEPY HOLLOW - Ichabod and Katrina The Horseman and an OC (he's a fantastic character!) PETER PAN - Hook and Wendy CHRONICLES OF NARNIA - Lucy and Tumnus Lucy and Caspian Cor/Shasta and Aravis My heroes are (in no particular order): Danny Elfman, Johnny Depp, Trevor Hurst, Jason Isaacs, Iain Glen, Diana Rigg, Patrick Macnee, Oliver Reed, Tim Burton, Helena Bonham-Carter, Eric Idle, John Cleese, Ewan McGregor, Sarah Brightman, Michael Crawford, David Tennant, Christopher Walken (he's so creepy!), James McAvoy, Antonio Banderas, Stephan Fry, Hugh Laurie, Rowan Atkinson, Miranda Richardson, John Barrowman, Adam West, M.C. Escher, Health-Man, Leafy-Green-Vegetable-Girl, Edward D. Wood Jr. (for his perseverance) and finally Candi, Gareth and Kayleigh for putting up with me :) Hmm, lets see what else...I'm a big fan of chocolate, coffee and a nice cup of tea. I have been called a Goth in the past, but I'd say I was more occasioanlly-Gothically-inclined than an actual Goth. The most extravagent thing I ever bought was a £75 corset, but it was actually cheaper than it should have been (love January sales). One of my favourite places in the world was Camden Market, before it turned commercial and then caught fire. Music-wise I have quite weird tastes. I can't fit my favourite bands into a genre pigeon hole. I'm currently listening to Oingo Boingo, Econoline Crush and random cybergoth bands. But not all at once. That would be noisy. Sometimes I think I might be going insane but I'm not sure, because realising that I'm going insane might be a sign that I'm in fact NOT going insane...But I probably am. | |||||||||||
