I'm just going to be honest: most of what I have up here is...not that great. Some of them on the other hand, are pretty good. For your sake, please avoid the bad ones. Or not. They're actually pretty funny. My twelve--fourteen year old self had some interesting ideas. I've tried to sort them out a bit for you. Read outside the lines at your on risk. Yeah, they meet at a supermarket and then go home and snog. For no apparent reason. If that's your thing, have at it. Actually, rereading it, it's not that awful.) -An Invitation to Stop Waiting (The Office, Jim/Mark. Mark is Jim's roommate. I just wanted to slash Jim with someone. I offer no excuse.) -Beautiful Dreamer (The Office, Pam/Jim. This just isn't something I like anymore--the mindless, gooey fluff. Also, I wrote it when I was thirteeen, and now I'm embarrassed of it.) -Birthday Girl (The Office, Pam/Jim. It's just...it's weird. And not the good kind. Pam ends up eating a cupcake and singing a song to herself. Okaaaay...) -Cut Off (LotR, some weird Frodo/Sam-ish thing. So, at the time I wrote this, I was starting to get into slash, but I was scared to actually write slash, so I just wrote this weird thing where the hobbits hug and cry and stuff. It's kind of hurt/comfort, only nobody ends up comforted. Also, there is a problem with the tenses. It's not as truly awful as some other stuff on this site, but it's pretty juvenille.) -Executioner (HP, gen. Okay, so I went through a phase where I really liked writing about Peter. This is the worst of it.) -Many Views of Death (Star Wars, gen. Weird. I don't like it. Obi-Wan hallucinates a giant landscape of DEATH.) -Middle Names (The Office, gen. So, Jim freaks out because he doesn't remember Dwight's middle name. And that's the whole story.) -Plummet (HP, gen. Harry and Hermione both jump off the castle. I cannot defend this fic. I'd rather giggle at it. What can I say?) -Purifying (HP, gen. Sirius' mum cleans his room. How exciting. Only not.) -Rubato (Alexander, Alexander/Hephaestion. Actually, this one isn't too bad, but I'm giving it minus eight bazillion points for lacking historical accuracy. I don't think Alexander was even there when Hephaestion died. I really love the relationship between the two, though, and I know a lot more about it now. I'd like to revisit them again at some point.) -Take Me Home, Brother (Star Wars, Anakin/Obi-Wan. THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER. It makes me laugh soooo much every time I revisit it. It is supposed to be a serious, angsty fic, and yet...they play Monopoly. And eat cake (Anakin puts fruit punch in the mix, because he is an IDIOT in this story). And Leia is in the "special" class at school, and Anakin and Padme have another kid named Leanne. The whole thing is a blight upon the face of the earth, but I refuse to delete it because it still entertains me. If you want to laugh at the stupidity of a twelve-year-old (and really, who doesn't?) I recommend reading this nooow.) -Things to Come (Bible, Jonathan/David. Again, not awful. I really like the idea, and I plan to redo this at some point, only better. The problem, again, is historical accuracy. The interpretation of Jonathan and David as lovers is certainly a valid one. However, I knew very little about the culture of the ancient Hebrews when I was writing this, and it shows. I avoided concrete details like the plague, and the whole thing is rather vague and non-descriptive as a result. The reviews are very entertaining, though.) -Was Blind But Now (Greek Mythology, Achilles/Patroclus. Again, not that poorly written, though they're both a little weepy. BUT, I didn't put too much thought into historical accuracy, or mythological accuracy. I was just really sad, because I was reading the Iliad and all I was thinking was Whyyyy do they have to dieeee and I wanted fluff and so I did this.) And that's that.
