If I saw of movie I really liked or read a book I really liked, I'd always think about what happened before the events took place, or after, or even some points during. So now I write fan fiction. My first experience with it was when I wrote for 'Kim Possible'. Those aren't my best stories, but they did give me some experience as well as something to do. Then I wrote for 'Rent', and 'Harry Potter', and now I'm primarily writing for 'The Chronicles of Narnia'. I find it really fun to write about the characters and their worlds and imagining what happens to them next. Note on current fan fiction: Currently I write for Doctor Who, The Chronicles of Narnia, Moulin Rouge, The Three Musketeers (Alexandre Dumas), a little Star Wars, and Angels and Demons. These are the most categories that I've ever worked with at the same time, but these things have all captured my interest at the same time and have given me some intriguing things to think on and, subsequently, write about. Angels and Demons only has one multi-chaptered story so far that might take awhile, as it needs work. The Three Musketeers stories are likely to only be one-shots, as there is quite a lot covered in the books (and I haven't even finished them all yet!). There is a multi-chaptered story for The Chronicles of Narnia, and likely more one-shots as I get inspired. And Moulin Rouge has two active multi-chaptered stories and many one-shots, because it's new to me. Now on to the reason people are on this site: Works of Fan Fiction Note, 24 October 2009: I have applied to college! That is to say, I have applied to all the American universities that need applying to. Now on to the British and Canadian ones. After November, though (and hopefully during) things should get easier. The only thing, other than school work and work-work, that might hinder me is inspiration, which always chooses to leave at the most inopportune moments. As you might have noticed, Doctor Who has received a lot of attention as of late. That is because I've become a fan and think David Tennant makes an awesome Doctor. And since the series has come on a lot in October and will be having new episodes in the winter, I have had lots of inspiration. I'm still continuing with my other fandoms. I just need to work harder to get inspired. (I feel like someone ought to put a Moulin Rouge joke here.) I hope you enjoy! Coming Soon: Quite a few Doctor Who one-shots. -Quite a few Moulin Rouge one-shots. -An AU story called 'Other Half' for Doctor Who. A small idea went wild. -One or two Three Musketeers one-shots. In Progress: "Coming Around" (Narnia, A.U.)-new multi-chapter story in the works. Chapter 5 up! "Other Half" (Doctor Who)-an AU story in which the 9th Doctor never met Rose and the 10th Doctor refuses to save the world. Chapter 4 is up! "Beginning to Remember" (Moulin Rouge)- a story in which Christian wakes up in the hospital and does not know why. Chapter 2 is finally up! I was shocked to find that I had forgotten about this one, but now, alas, I remember. "The Nature of Guilt" (Angels and Demons)-a multi-chapter story that is alternative universe. Chapter 4 is up! Updates might be awhile in the making, or at least until I get back into school and get that whole 'religious' vibe again. That might not make sense, but I do go to a Catholic school, so it makes a bit more sense. We now have three priests! "Only One" (Narnia)-a bit of an experiment with romance. Chapter Two is up. On temporary hiatus. I'd like to focus on "Coming Around" "Ever Present" (Harry Potter)-on hiatus. I'm not sure if I'm going to continue it. New Stuff: "Minutes" and "Midnight" (Doctor Who)-Two one-shots based on two different Doctor Who episodes, The Girl in the Fireplace and Midnight, and very episode-based. "Name" (Doctor Who)-Has much to do with the Doctor's name and the episode 'The Forest of the Dead' from Series 4. "Why Not" (Doctor Who/Torchwood)-Gwen made that video addressing the Doctor during Children of Earth. Here, he sees it, and Jack makes a confession. "So Uncivilized" (Star Wars)-based on something Obi-Wan says in 'Revenge of the Sith', featuring a young Anakin and Obi-Wan Kenobi "Allons-y" (Doctor Who)-It is about the title. A little pointless, but I had to write it. "Inevitable" (Doctor Who)-After watching some episodes I had to write something about romance. 10th Doctor/Rose "Broken" (Narnia)-Another war story, this time with Edmund dealing with something quite difficult alone. "Indecision" (Alexandre Dumas)-Aramis can't decide between priesthood and the life of a musketeer. Multi-Chapter Stories (All Complete) "Early Winter" (Moulin Rouge)-Christian's life after Satine and his death. "Finding the Lost" (Narnia)-Series of one-shots leading to 'The Last Battle' in which the Pevensies try to bridge the gap between them and Susan. Is sort of like a sequel to 'By Will Alone' but can be read on its own. "Reality" (Great Gatsby)-Four diary entries from Gatsby spanning the novel. "By Will Alone" (Narnia)-all things considered, this is probably AU. My first really, really long story in which Edmund is cursed by the White Witch, but he's in England... "Everything" (Narnia)-inspired by the Lifehouse song of the same name, a story that spans Edmund's changes throughout the Narnia series. "Into the Past" (Harry Potter)-Quite by mistake, Harry travels to the time of the Marauders and is mistaken for James. Quite the AU and took awhile to write. And was written mostly in middle-school, so not the best of writing, but a fun story nonetheless. "The Sitch is Switched" (Kim Possible)-Kim and Shego switch brains. Was written so long ago that I feel it was in another life, but I still love Kim Possible even if it isn't on anymore. Also the only complete really multi-chaptered KP story and, while it probably has some of my worst writing (among the other KP stories), it does bring back some good memories. Special Notes on Special Fandoms: The Great Gatsby: "Reality"-these are four diary entries from Jay Gatsby. It was a school assignment. I don't usually write fan fiction in this category, although I did like the book very much. Kim Possible: Any KP story that hasn't been finished will...remain unfinished, since the show ended and I haven't watched it regularly. I wrote the stories such a long time ago that it would feel odd to continue them (not to mention I've no idea where I was going with some of them). I still love KP, though, and I hope you can enjoy the stories that are complete, and possibly even the ones that aren't. Quote of the Month: "One must always eat muffins quite calmly.
