i'm going through and slowly cleaning up my messes. this includes The Hidden Series, the Snow Patrol Series and Five by Five. i'm not too sure what i mean by 'clean up' yet - some might be removed, others edited - but i'll keep you guys up-to-date as things progress.

update: (7.15.12) Legacy, Five Song Drabbles, Maze and The Boy have been removed. by me, not FF. if you really miss them, let me know and i'll see about some sort of solution. also debating on A Thing For Beauty and All or Nothing. both will most likely disappear within the month. still thinking about it, though.

update: (8.9.12) A Thing For Beauty and All or Nothing have, as stated, disappeared. i think A Series of Memories and Family Matters might be next. things are taking so long because i'm trying to coordinate a lot of RL balls and juggling always took a lot of precision. again, if you really really miss A Thing For Beauty (why anyone would miss that preteen-induced slop, i'll never know) or All or Nothing (no one really read that one anyway), please let me know and i'll see what my options are.

update: (8.24.12) random funny thought of the day. and i'm posting it here because... well, i have no where else to put it, really. BBC Sherlock cast as Alice in Wonderland characters. Sherlock as The Mad Hatter (I'm investigating things that begin with the letter M), John as the long suffering March Hare (You're all late for tea!), Mycroft as the Cheshire Cat (I never get involved in politics), Moriarty as the Red Queen (She's slain my Jabber-baby-wocky?)... Mrs Hudson as Alice? or Molly? nah, Molly would be the White Queen (Because when you step out to face that creature, you will step out on your own). any talented artist is welcome to take a stab at it. i haven't seen it done yet, but i love the idea. :)

update: (9.25.12) another random thought. you know you're in deep when every song you hear on the radio reminds you of your current fandom. does anyone else have this problem?

update: (9.28.12) A Series of Memories and Family Matters have both been taken down. if you really miss them, please let me know and i'll see what i can do. and for those special few out there who worry that i might be taking all of my HP stuff down, dread not. the Snow Patrol Series, Convenience/Saturnine/Rebuild, and Accident of Fate are the 'Do Not Delete' list. they merely need various amounts of scrubbing to make them pretty and jive with my current style of writing. not sure when i'll get to said scrubbing, but it is on the docket.

update: (10.26.12) happy early Halloween, if you celebrate. nothing deleted this time, and no random thoughts. just a quick fyi - i am working on another BBC Sherlock story. it will end up being another multi-chaptered one, and i have the beginning and the first part of the middle being looked at as i type. it isn't that the writing is slow going, it's the research that i've had to put in that is taking up so much time. time that i don't really have to spend these days. anyway, it will be called Structural Damage and as soon as i can find the time to groove with it, things will probably be showing up here. for those even fewer but no less special readers who are wondering, Five by Five isn't going anywhere because it has no where to go. Dom, Letty and the Crew seem to be enjoying themselves somewhere other than my imagination and show no signs of returning any time soon. don't disrepair - it won't be taken down - but don't hold your breath for updates either.

update: (11.17.12) random/fun thought - wouldn't it be great if the creators/stars of our fandoms actually read our work? better yet, wouldn't it be great if they reviewed? not flames or anything nasty, but some solid concrit. and then they mention it during an interview and suddenly everyone is reading your work. and leaving reviews. how awesome would that be?

update: (1.5.13) usually, i wipe my profile every year. i just couldn't this time - there wouldn't be much to delete, but what there is remains relevant. i hope you guys are enjoying the new year and are staying healthy during this most audacious flu season. it's knocking people on their butts left and right. if you haven't gotten your flu shot yet and you know where one's available, go get it. or do that spray thing - that's cool, too.

as a small addendum to last night: (1.5.13) i might have to take a hiatus soon. classes are starting up again and i'll be taking a full course load as well as working 20-40 hours a week. in addition to all the other things on my plate, this will leave me very little time for writing, or at least editing and posting - i always try to make time for writing. anyway, if i happen to disappear please know that though i am gone, nothing has been forgotten.

update: (2.2.13) i feel like i'm going crazy, guys. i am wholly dissatisfied with everything i'm writing for Structural Damage. nothing is coming out right. i just can't get past The Hound. i'm not abandoning it, but it's seriously kicking my butt. plus, another project has snuck up on me - an HP one - and it's having trouble leaving me alone until i finish Structural Damage. and i've got a boat-load of readings to do for my classes. which is awesome (i'm the only one who knows anything about sociopathy and serial killers for my psych class) and annoying (i have to read a bunch of Contemporary American Lit, and it's totally throwing off my Victorian Brit Lit groove). so in case you were wondering where the hell i wandered off to, please know it hasn't been exactly by choice.

update: (2.24.13) so boyfriend took me to a wonderful detective-themed dinner party for valentine's day. i solved the mystery and won us the title of Super Sleuth. we won a framable certificate, a magnifying glass, and a fairly nice bottle of champagne. go us! added to the fact that we're reading The Big Sleep in my Contemporary American Lit class and Tennyson for my Vic Lit class, life is going fairly well. busy as all hell and unlikely to let up anytime soon, but fairly well.

update: (3.23.13) finally getting around to combining The Hidden Series into one story. who gave me clearance to use so many exclamation points? seriously, yo. on the other end, i have about 100pgs done. and i started yesterday. okay, so it's mostly cut-and-paste, but still... go me! of course, i chose the end of Spring Break to work on it, but alls well that starts well. i hope. not sure when i'll get around to posting it, but it's on the docket... somewhere. along with vacuuming - that really needs to get done.

update: (4.13.13) okay, so fits of pique are totally unattractive, but nothing is going my way you guys! at least my taxes are done. i was able to get a bit more written for Structural Damage, thanks mostly to an argument boyfriend and i had. but my paper for On the Road by Jack Kerouac is horrible, terrible, no-good, really bad and i hate it. the death of self to create a new, more enlightened self might have seemed like a good idea at the time, but it's totally not so good now. at least my paper about Peter Pan and the idea of the Victorian Family Structure is going well. annotated bib is done and outline is solid. now only if i could get baby to eat her lunch. it might have to happen in front of SpongeBob today - you have to pick your battles.
