Update~ So, DotD fans, as of 4/9/09... I realize I haven't updated in a damnnnnn long time. I wanted to in January, but I was taking a class in Greece and didn't have computer access. Once school started I had to get in all my grad school applications, work every weekend, work at the hospital for my internship at least once a week(for 8 hours), and try to get all of my schoolwork done for my 19 credits...I mean, I have a 40 page paper due in like two weeks.. -cries- ..Now, I realize there are kids out there with 2 or 3 jobs and school and all, but I just suck at multitasking and I am a lazyass bum too as much as my life allows for it. I can't sit down to think of what needs to be written if I only have like 2 or 3 hours a week to do so. I expect your continued harassment and pleadings for me to update- it keeps me well reminded of my obligation to you, my readers. But, don't expect an update until the week after I graduate, which is May 16th. I'm so profusely sorry that you've had to wait so long, but I'm doing my best, and I promise once school is over, I will get the final 3 chapters out to you by August at the latest(and the first of those 3 by the end of May). :)

Hi there! I guess if you're here, you either wanna see what stories I've written(not many, since college consumes life and eats it like a giant squid), or you want to learn more about me. Well, okay...

Name: Um, my real name sucks(it really does, and I'm thinking seriously about legally changing it), so please just call me Aurora. It's my favorite name, and my Confirmation name- and one of my 2 considerations should I change my name. So yep, I'm Aurora. :)

Age: 22 (b-day is May 8th)

Residence: NJ, in the U.S.A.

Likes: God; my family and kitties; Astronomy; German; feminism(though my own version of it, not the crazy liberal wacko version that supports abortion, gay-rights, etc..); the Naruto series; the Civil War(I do reenacting, and oh my gosh, I wish I lived in the 1850s. I want those dresses- all of them!- for my own!); reading(classic novels, especially Jane Austen- which is why my own writing sounds so old fashioned most of the time); Greek, Egyptian, etc. mythology and archaeology; biology(I'm going to be a heart surgeon, so I'd better like it, huh?); classical music(Baroque and Classical, not that Romantic and Modern crap); and lots else that I can't recall right now.

Dislikes: Liberal wackos, and all their beliefs(you get the point I'm sure); atheists who try to push their beliefs on you; sexists; rap/ r and b/ soul/ country types of music; spiders, centipedes, and silverfish(got bit by one outside once, and my arm was numb for a week); nuns- they're evil, and if you wanna know why I think so, just ask- I have legit reasons; heights(I'm scared); people in general- I'm shy, a hypochondriac(not one of the freaks who thinks they are sick...just afraid of getting sick, like all the time..), and just overall don't trust most people in real life- though select few are awesome; and lots more that I can't recall.

Hobbies: Astronomy, drawing(I just learned, by teaching myself, so I still suck!), reading, playing baseball(yes, baseball not softball- have to teach all those sexist jerks out there that they can't sissy down a sport for girls!), singing, playing cello, and my horrible addiction to Gaia and Naruto related websites(I'm on there so often, it must be a hobby..).(See me on Gaia as Aurora Marija if you happen to have an account there- or as Aurora Maryte on DeviantArt!)

Fav shows/ movies/ books/etc.: I don't watch much TV anymore- but I adored this show called Ancient Discoveries on the History Channel. We Classics majors are a bit wacko, lol... They got rid of it, but The Universe, which takes care of my astrophysics fetish took its place. I also love Heroes; that show is freakin' awesome!! I also am a die-hard Naruto fan, but I watch it on Youtube. I also love Code Geass, Death Note, and Bleach.

As for movies, my fav is Stargate, but I like tons, like The Dark Knight, LOTR, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean(not the new one, it sucked), Phantom of the Opera, Ever After, X-Men, Troy, Pride and Prejudice, etc. I could go on and on... And as for books.. same thing, I could list them for hours, but my select few favs are: Pride and Prejudice, Gone with the Wind, Sense and Sensibility, War of the Worlds, 20000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Iliad, The Lord of the Rings(only read 2 and 3), Lysistrata, and the Naruto manga, if that even counts. My fav animes are Code Geass, Naruto, Bleach, Death Note, Gunsmith Cats, Pita Ten, and Witch Hunter Robin.

Least Fav Naruto Characters: Orochimaru, Sai, Sasuke, Hidan, Kakazu, Ino, Kabuto, Jiraiya(Ero-sennin), Tayuya, Sakon/Ukon, Kimimaru, Kakashi, Zetsu

Favorite Pairings: Sasori x Sakura, Temari x Shikamaru, Deidara x Ino, Hinata x Naruto, Rock Lee x Sakura, Itachi x Sakura, Ino x Sai, Itachi x Hinata, TenTen x Neji

Least Favorite Pairings: Any yaoi or yuri pairings(that's just wrong! Ew...), Ino x Shikamaru, Ino x Sasuke, Sakura x Naruto, Hinata x Neji... okay, pretty much Sasuke x anyone actually, because he's just a loser and an asshole.

And now that I've been branching out, I like other pairings too, such as: Ulquiorra x Orihime (Bleach); Euphemia x Suzaku (Code Geass); Lelouch x Kallen (Code Geass); Ishida x Orihime (Bleach)...and others I'm too brain dead to think of right now.
