| Spouse of Orestes |
Author has written 14 stories for Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, and Greek Mythology. I realized my profile hasn't been updated for the last 2 years. For the sake of correction, I'm 27 and I'm still living in Manila. I love Greek/Roman mythology and for a time I was obsessed with Harry Potter, hence my name. "Hermione" is the spouse of Orestes according to Ovid and Euripides. I've been writing fanfiction for years but it was only recently that I ever completed anything worth publishing. My first was when I was eight. It was the Little Twin Stars (those characters from Sanrio). I created a backstory for them. Then there was this Japanese cartoon TV series called "Candy, Candy." I can't remember what I wrote about it but I remember adding details to the story, when I was about ten. In high school I ventured into the world of Jane Austen and wrote an alternative ending to Lady Susan and a outtake to Mansfield Park. Then finally came my obsession for Harry Potter which went on for about five years. I wrote three stories and published two of them, both are found on this site. When I first read theChronicles of Narnia, particularly LWW, I was still in the thick of my HP obsession so I didn't think much of it. But when I saw the film, it made me think twice and convinced me to read the rest of the series in a month. I was disappointed however, with the ending of the Last Battle, in particular Susan's plight. It depressed me so much, I read a ton of articles regarding Susan. When that didn't alleviate my suffering, I wrote "Regaining Narnia." Now I'm a true convert and I find Lewis' world so rich for potential fanfic plots. I have a series of Golden Age Narnia fanficsthat I recommend be read in this order, though they occur in a different chronology: Lessons in Diplomacy Queen Susan's Marriage Chaperoning Peter The Great Galman Escape Bacchanalia | |||||||||
