Author has written 18 stories for Lord of the Rings, Sharpe Series, Troy, Office, Homer, and Misc. Movies.

Every time I update my profile, it gets shorter and shorter. Pretty soon, it'll just be blank.

Proudest fanfiction achievement: writing Andromache/Eudorus and making it (apparently) work.

I work full-time and have lots of critters and thus not much time or energy to write. But I try. So feedback rocks my world.

The next project I'm percolating is a fic for "Wanted: Dead or Alive" with Jason Nichols as the main character. And if you know what & who I'm talking about without looking it up, I so want to be your friend.

Current pet peeve: People carping about "anachronisms" in historical fiction without knowing what they're talking about. Honestly, you'd be surprised at the actual parlance of the time. To think everyone talked super-formally and slang didn't exist pre-1950 is so condescending. You wouldn't think "sh1t through the eye of a needle without touching the sides" was a term for diarrhea, would you? Well, it was. And The Civil War era was rife with stuff that sounds "modern." I wish people would LOOK STUFF UP before bleating whether this or that phrase is "wrong/modern/anachronistic" etc. Chances are that it's they who are wrong.

Go read ConcreteHole's and LazyChestnut's fics right now. They're great people and authors. I have them both on Alert and you should, too. Both are currently writing great examples of how OFCs should be done: CH a rare, excellent "Modern Girl In Middle Earth" with Boromir, and LC a Titanic unrequited Jack/OFC. I disliked Modern Girl fics & Titanic, but these stories have changed my mind (as long as it's done right!)
