I was born on a farm in Oregon to a pair of political refugees. My mother fled the Disney-run part of Florida, while my father taught his cow to swim and sailed out to sea to escape from Cuba. They raised me with a good set of values and work ethic. I grew up watching G.I. Joe, a love that I still hold onto.

I have an undergraduate degree from Harvard, a graduate degree from Oxford, and a doctorate from the Sorbonne. I speak 8 languages fluently enough to pass as a local, and I can converse quite adequately in 20 others.

Currently, I am a curator of a famous museum in Prague and in my spare time, I write fanfiction. I don't know if I will continue this version of Yu-G.I.Joe because I am thinking about a version set in World War II where Yugi-tachi and G.I. Joe find themselves on opposite sides and how awful it is for them.
