Halcyone doesn't really use this site anymore. At least not to my knowledge. Online gaming has swallowed her whole. I'm a recovering addict myself.

I've been using this site since 1999 and writing on it since 2002. DragonBall Z is how I discovered this site. Before this site, I read fanfics at a wide variety of other sites. The New Adventures of Johnny Quest is what originally got me involved in fanfiction. Haha, going way back here.

Please review if you read a story. Between my two accounts, I have submitted over 900 signed reviews and that does not include the three years I reviewed under an anonymous account as the Empress until I officially signed up in late 2002 as Kolaida. Point: Don't be scared to review stories and don't feel like you are the only one doing it. My goal is to have over 1000 signed reviews on each account and when I review I try to be helpful or encouraging. Thank you.

I am a military brat, therefore I have no hometown. Actually, I have surprised many people by actually not being bratty. Surprise!

For some reason, I cannot pry myself away from Ninja Turtle fanfiction. You think it would be easy to get away since I haven't watched it since the '90s and that was reruns of the '80s cartoon! I've seen two episodes of the newer cartoon and still haven't seen the latest movie (though not for lack of trying). Crazy good stories, though. Ha, I remember reading them before 2003 when there was like hardly any. Now there's like thousands, I love it when fandoms grow!
