Caution: The following section is of my opinions and words of advice. Faint of the heart, be warned. Shipping wars are pointless. 1) it's all a matter of opinion; 2) if the author wants it that way, it's that way... and that's what fandom is all about; 3) it's stupid to argue because no one acts mature enough through the fight in the first place. Having shipping essays are fine, only if they are respectful to other pairings. On yuri, yaoi, incest... once again it's all a matter of opinion. I don't go out of the way to read it myself, but I'm okay with it. In fact, I ship a few of them myself. As said in the previous sentence, choice is the most important part. I know some people will bash other pairs, but that's because they're immature or have their own insecurities of their own pair. If you, for example, support Harry/Draco or Itachi/Sasuke or Kagome/Sango, then enjoy your fandom to your heart's content... just don't force it on me or others.
