I didn't realize I had 18 stories up here! And I think only one of them is finished. -
"And Baby Makes..." and "The Demon Within" are both on hiatus. I say hiatus because I don't want to give up on them completely, but the truth is, I'm not really interested in BtVS at the moment. Someday, I hope I'll be able to continue the stories, and if anyone would like to "branch off" with new chapters, that would make my day, but I just can't see myself writing any more for them. I've tried. Everything I write I think is crap, and I shove it into a dark folder on my harddrive. If anyone does want to "branch out" from my story, please tell me so I can read what you come up with. _
Currently, I'm obsessed with Inuyasha. (I don't get interested, I get obsessed.) I've got two stories up that I'm pursuing at the moment. Hopefully I can keep them going. One of them I actually know how it will end. I know the ending! That doesn't happen often with me. Maybe once before.
My Everything
Title and brainstorm idea inspired by the song of the same name by... uhh... I don't know. It's on my Now That's What I Call Music #15. And really, it was just one phrase she kept repeating that got me started.
Real Summary: Naraku is defeated. The Shikon no Tama is completed. Kagome is broken by the loss of Inuyasha to Kikyo, who dragged him to hell just as she'd promised. Now, alone in her "normal life" in modern day Tokyo, Kagome is virtually a different person, pessimistic, somewhat anti-social and easily annoyed, even by her well-meaning friends. She tries to keep everyone at a distance. But there's one boy who just won't stay away.
Eventually, it will be Inuyasha/Kagome. I know, you're thinking, "But how can that be, if he's been sucked into hell?" Well, technically it won't be Inuyasha/Kagome, but... crap, I think I've given too much away... You'll have to keep reading the story to find out.
This story's my brainchild. I'm so excited about it!
Once More With Feeling
Real Summary: During a fight with Naraku that they are losing, Kagome, driven by despair for her friends, wishes she could start all over and do everything right. And she gets her wish.
Now she finds herself two years in her past, with a village that doesn't recognize her, a centipede-hanyou after her, and a dog-hanyou asleep, pinned to the Goshinboku. What is going on? And what is she going to do about it... this time?
Okay, I don't know why, but for some reason, my disclaimer 2 author's notes repeated themselves. I tried to fix it 4 times, but it kept showing up the same way. So, I'm sorry. Just ignore it, and I'll try to keep it from doing that the next time. I think it has something to do with using boldcase...
I started this story as a literary "doodle" almost as soon as I had a good grip on the characterizations. Looking back at some spots, I don't think I had that good a grip. Now I've seen much more of the show, and hopefully I'll be able to continue the story better. But there really is no plot. I mean, I've got little ideas for "episodes", like getting all of the group back together again, the appearance of Sesshoumaru, etc., but no Naraku, which is the plot underlying the actual series. So, we'll see where it goes. But, since there is no plot, I don't think I'll leave anyone in suspense when I get writer's block. Considering I started continuing this story in an effort to break writer's block, I'm sure it will come bite me on the backside again. It always does.
