Hiya =) This is Briony, or Briony Jae if you want. I am currently at an age of 18... finally am old! I rather liked being 17 though - although I know that 18 will be a whole lot better. =) I live in New Zealand which is honestly the best place in the world to live! I know, I know, I am biased... but hey, so would you be if you even spent 5 minutes in our beautiful country! =)

I'm now at University - and if I thought I was busy at college (aka high school), well... that was nothing! =) I am absolutely LOVING Uni, despite the late nights (technically 3am isn't night as such...), masses of assignments, and having to find time to do laundry! I'm lucky, because my lecturers are not boring and actually quite amusing =) So, along with study, my number one favourite thing to do is to write. I love writing, and I'm certain that I always will. I often daydream (whenever I'm waiting for the bus, pretending to listen to this computer nerd guy in my dorm - I do love nerds tho!) about how I would love to have this room with a big window, with a beautiful view of the country, and just sit there and write. That would be my ultimate future. =)

The fandom that brought me to find this awesome website is Harry Potter. I am an absolute fanatic (in a good way, of course!) and I couldn't last a single day without reading/writing/thinking about J.K Rowlings' awesome series! Combine the two, and you get Harry Potter fanfic! Now you'll want to know my pairings... -drumroll- I pretty much will read any pairing if I like the writing, but I have to say that my favourite pair ever is HarryDraco =) -drools- Come on, you have got to admit that it hot! I do prefer slash ( = yum!), and after HarryDraco, I'd definitely put RemusSirius =) Yay! But yeah, other than that, I'm not that fussy... however there are some pairings that I just can't do. For example, HarrySeverus ('nuf said!), HarryHermione (they're FRIENDS!) and HarryRon. I did have a stage there where I thought it would be adorable - it actually would be - but I'm sorry, Ron is so straight. Not even in fanfic can you make him realistically gay. That's another thing, I do like to keep to canon as much as possible - I believe it is possible to twist it so that it is still canon, but slash. It is possible, I have proof - check my favourite stories, they did it =)

Anyways. I get a lot of inspiration for fics and such from song lyrics. The best band in the whole universe would be Green Day!! And other singers I like, well, I just like any song as long as the lyrics are good. I don't mind if it's rock, country, r'n'b, slow sweet music or whatever, as long I like the lyrics. Although I do happen to draw the line at rap. Gosh guys! =D

In order of publishing:

~I Don't Know You Anymore: A little songfic, inspired by Savage Garden's song. I woke up one morning and could not get it out of my head! So I wrote a Harry/Draco songfic. =) Draco betrayed Harry to the Dark Lord, and effectively loses him. Years later, he reaches out.

~Minute in Heaven: I must say, I am proud of this one. My first ever heated scene. Well, pretty much, heh. =) Remus/Sirius. Sirius and Remus are together, but mustn't let others know... so have to steal their moments. This story is an example of this.

~Not A Malfoy Anymore: Is now Complete! Three years in the making, and man am I sad to see it finished. And happy at the same time. But oh gosh, I can't believe I've finished my first fic with chapters, hee hee. =) Draco's father escapes from Azkaban, and comes for Draco. He is forced to flee to Surrey... where he meets a particular someone, someone I'm sure you will have guessed! As he spends his holidays with Harry Potter, strange and dangerous events occur, which has to be expected when you're with the Boy-who-lived! Pairing: Harry/Draco.

~Deaf to all Sound: I had just been reading Order of the Phoenix... and wondered how Remus felt that fatal night. A Remus who happened to love Sirius. Then I decided to stop wondering, and write it into existence. =) Remus/Sirius.

~Beautiful Disaster: I was quite surprised when I finished this to find that it had turned out to be quite dark! But yeah. =) Inspired by Kelly Clarkson's song. Draco struggles with a feeling he's never felt before - love. Falling in love with Harry Potter... that's a struggle in itself. Harry/Draco.

~What's a Website: A lil' cute conversation fic. Humor. =) It depicts what would happen if the Golden Trio and Ginny surfed the net and found fanfiction dot net. Implied Harry/Draco, Ron/Hermione and Ginny/Severus. -grins-

~That Random Broom Cupboard: A follow on to 'What's a Website', although you are quite free to read it by itself. =) What happens when Harry and Draco go searching for that random broom cupboard... and what happens when they find a rather full one. Another cute conversation fic. Involves a near hot and wild shag, Filch helpers and lucky socks. Hope it makes you laugh. =)

~I Hate That I Love You: HPDM Drabbles: Originally posted for mintapotter's HPDM Drabble competition. However, I've decided I will continue to post drabbles as I get ideas and yeah. =) So watch this space. I hope to have many. =) Thanks to all who have given me prompts!! You know who you are. Hee hee.

~The Animagi Challenge: I received this awesome challenge from mustardgirl1128 and had great fun in exploring my new-found passion for RemusSirius =) Quite a lot of fluff, but I think that everyone needs a lil fluff in their lives! Hehe. Enjoy!

~Brooding: To save myself from going mental from all the studying I'd been doing, I thought a RemusSirius would cheer me up =D Sirius Black is brooding, and does it so well that Remus just wants to jump him! Yummy hehe.

Yes well, I think that is pretty much the end of my profile. I am currently writing another chaptered fanfic, a HarryDraco one, but I don't want to have to make you guys wait months between each update (sorry, NAMA fans!). So... am trying to write lots before I start posting. And please, to keep me motivated, if you see that I haven't actually posted a new story in a while, that means I haven't been writing, and I definitely want this one to go somewhere! So I fully encourage you all to send me a motivational (or abusive, or persuasive... anything really!) message to get me writing! =) Because I am sure that you all want to read this next story, it's going to be great! (-coughs and crosses fingers- ...)
