Author has written 20 stories for Pokémon, and Avatar: Last Airbender. About the Author: I have been part of the fanfiction community since I was twelve, and have been writing fanfiction for about eight years now. Most of my early stories suffered from - well, a number of issues, with a lack of common sense and a mountain of angst being prevalent themes. While my writing still tends to be dark, I'd like to think I've reduced my weaknesses to occasionally writing in purple prose and having odd bits of dialogue here or there. My betas Larka, Indigo Crescent, and Indigo Shade are proving to be a great help with that. In the "real world," I am entering my senior year of college, where I'm majoring in English and anthropology and minoring in religion. My birthday is July 7th, which coincides with the Tanabata and makes Cancer my star sign. My interests include creative writing and genre-busting/mindscrew-filled/deconstruction series (ex. the works of Joss Whedon and Kunihiko Ikuhara). I also have a great love for cats and contemporary classical music. For the next few years, I plan to continue writing on FFN, with my second major story - Angelic Shadows - being my main focus. Once it's completed, I will be moving on to original fiction and editorial work. As a general note, I tend to only update once every few months, usually during the summer and during the winter holidays, since that's when I have the most time to write. I do try to make my updates worthwhile for my readers, though, so please be patient with me. Harassment will not make me work any faster. My Announcements: Wednesday, 1-23-13: Hey there, dear followers. Before I head out to class, I'll make this quick update on things, since I haven't done so for months now. First, I have some good news and some bad news. I'll start with the bad news. In recent years, you've all probably noticed how my update speed has slowed to a near halt. One of my main reasons for this have been that I've been very busy with college. This remains a valid point, but I feel I should admit that it's not the only one. While I still have a great love for fanfiction and have some works-on-progress that I'm excited to share with you, the reality is that there isn't much more for me to do, fanfiction-wise. With some of these final works to come, I'll have explored pretty much every aspect of the character of Mewtwo (and, to some extent, Sabrina as well) - and all that would be left for me is treading the same ground. Furthermore, this little section of the internet barely receives traffic or provides me with constructive feedback; the demographic this fandom caters to tends to be for a much younger and more thoughtless audience. Now I have had ideas for other fandom works, among them a rather lengthy "Harry Potter" AU fanfiction, but I'm hesitant to go into those either. Why not, you might ask? Well, for years I've written fanfiction as practice for writing original fiction. It's helped me so much, but now...well, now we've reached the point where it's holding me back, instead of helping me move forward. So here's the bad news: I'm going to start putting my original fiction first. That's not to say I'm done with fanfiction - I have some unfinished works and works-in-progress, as I said before - but it will come slowly. As for the good news, suffice to say that what does come will, at least, have a more reliable schedule. I have a chapter of "AS" written and another in progress at the moment. I might continue to write them until I actually have a chapter buffer (like, you know, sane people have). Future works will be written in advance: I already have five chapters of a new work called "Bound By Love" and a good start on "The Pyrrhic Hearts." So while I can't promise you'll see anything soon, there is more coming. As usual, thank you for your patience. Just saying that a story/chapter is good is nice to hear, but it's also not very helpful. Plus, the standards on this site are also so very low, so such praises don't honestly mean much. Note on the above updates: despite their statuses as "side stories," skipping these chapters would not be wise, given the information and character development we see in them.
