Author has written 12 stories for Demashitaa! Powerpuff Girls Z, and Lucky Star. Hi! I'm authoress of "Kanata: Totally Dead?", "Kanata's Dream", "Kanata Thawed", "Miyuki's Spaced-Out Secret", "The Yamato Effect", and PPG-Z's "Blueberry", "Bunny Z", "The Secret Puff" and now "The Silver Puff". A low-key mild-mannered Boulder transplant without an axe to grind or a beef against anyone who likes to jot fiction on iPhone during boring commutes. My shifty personality is best described, in Lucky Star terms, as .60 Minegishi Ayano, .30 Tamura Hiyori and .10 Kuroi Nanako, though if I could chose what Lucky Star character I can be it would a (slightly sassier) Takara Miyuki. My fave/wanna-be anime character would be Ukyo Kuonji, who, if she could merge with Miyuki would make me a happy anime camper! I admire many stories I've come across on FanFictionNet. So much talent here! Which makes it so exciting when Desktop Animation Production finally arrives and gets into the hands of doujinshi creators and manga creators! Imagine fan-created anime, both original and spin-off, that look almost real as the real commercial thing! I'm on line for dubbing!! My stories are mostly unorthodox spin-offs of current stories. When I was in early grade school my parents took me to see a "The Wiz" play revival which was a take-off of "The Wizard of Oz". It was different, crazy, gave the characters a black urban makeover, and it was a little spicy too, but you understood it simply took the original on a new fun road. That's how most of my stories are. Take-offs of known stories, not meant as replacements or rivals. I mostly do it because there's bound to be lots of stories done the other way (different only in dialogue, not action or situations), so I offer my other take! So saying, I try to remain as canon as possible while taking off on a tangent – a very hard thing to do! I also found that readers are great sources of not only encouragement but story inspirations, so I'm always happy to answer feedback via message or e-mail, and will develop reader requests for particular stories too. I so value constructive criticism and nit-picking, but not petty carping or gadfly quibbles and nibbles. You REALLY have to go out of your way to miff my stride, and some do. There are too many souls on ff.net and the real world whose lot in life is to tear other people down and malign whose work for whatever reason. Maybe to feel bossy or brainy in life for once or just wish to drag others into their misery and malcontent. I feel sorry for them. If I find faults with a story, I gently point out my non-carping views and back off. It's called civility and if more practiced it it'd be a better world. About "OOC" and "Canon"; when someone other than Yoshimizu Kagami puts pen to Lucky Star, it's character is automatically "out of character" because ONLY the creator knows exactly how their character would respond in any given situation. The rest of us could only GUESS by example how Konata would react to a pie in the face – or meeting an alien. How close a writer's "guess" is their legitimate creative choice There are countless comics which have done well with their creators long pushing up daisies, by their successors simply keeping their characters "close enough" to canon and the original; indeed, over time such characters have changed and grown sophisticated along with their audience without losing their core familiarity. I hope writers are not cowed or intimidated by haunting "OOC purists" who possess unrealistic and unreasonable rigid demands on creativity and originality which would've long ago killed off the likes of DC and Marvel comics. If you wish to stay abreast of news of my pending stories and any special versions of them such as PDF ones, request to be put on my mailing list via the message and e-mail feature here! | |||||||||||
