Author has written 9 stories for Song of the Lioness, and Harry Potter. I am a huge fan of fan fiction. I stumbled onto FanFiction.net in late May of this year and since then have read several hundred fics in various categories (I am a huge, and very fast, reader). Some were great, some were good, some I try not to remember as the brain tends to block out tramatic experiences. Now, I will try my hand at this, and I expect (hope!) that some people will find my pieces enjoyable, creative, and in character with the original sources. I also expect some people will consider my works tramatic experiences, or else get mild cavities (I'm sorry, in advance, to those who love angst and death fics. I may put characters through horrible tramas, but in the end, the characters will triumph and get together. Yes, I am a fluff-lover!)and I will see the reviews stating such in one of a number of ways: a) as a learing experience and possible way to improve my writing, b) the result of strange, disturbed, or psychotic minds, c) the bitter ramblings of a failed fanfic writer, d) the results of college students who have been studying for six days straight, living off caffeine tablets and emerging only at 03:16 every morning to forage and take a washroom break, or e) a combination of some or all of the above. Whatever the source, I will read and absorb or laugh and ignore reviews and feedback. I LOVE ANIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just thought I should get that out of the way. I am also a tremdous bookworm, and I enjoy a fairly eclectic variety of TV shows and movies, all of which will be reflected in my fics. FAVORITES: Movies: X-Men, Pirates of the Caribbean, Princess Bride, Beauty and the Beast, most Disney movies (pre-1999), The Bourne Identity/Supremacy, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Hero, Dogma, The Silence of the Lambs, Red Dragon, Indian Jones trilogy, Star Wars (original trilogy), Labyrinth, Miss Congeniality, The Mummy/Mummy Returns (Brendan Frasier ), Much Ado About Nothing, Save The Last Dance, Bend It Like Beckham, SWAT, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, Van Hellsing, Harry Potter (all) Anime: Ayashi no Ceres, Ai Yori Aoshi (sooooo kawaii!), Cardcaptor Sakura (original Japanese, NOT the one on the Cartoon Network!), Chobits, DN Angel, Escaflowne (the movie is better, but the series is still great), Fruits Basket, Full Metal Alchemist, Full Metal Panic, Fushigi Yuugi, Hellsing, Hikaru no Go, Inuyasha, Rayearth (the manga is better though), Read or Die, R.O.D. the TV, Rurouni Kenshin (in case my pen name didn't give you a hint), Witch Hunter Robin, X/1999, Yami no Matsuei (Descendents of Darkness in English), Stellvia of the Universe, Chrno Crusade, Weiss Kreuz Manga: MARS, Marmalade Boy (MUCH better than the anime), Cardcaptor Sakura (also a bit better than the anime); Chobits, FAKE, Magic Knight Rayearth, Rurouni Kenshin, Ragnarok, Rebirth, Wish, I.N.V.U., Under the Glass Moon, anything by CLAMP Books: ANYTHING WRITEN BY NORA ROBERTS!!!SHE IS MY GODDESS!!!ALL HAIL NORA!!! I'll update on occation, as my ego demands. Luv ya! Story Timeline: (end of RotG) | |||||||||
