Some stuff about me:

My name is Jessica. Jekodama is a combination of my name with a japanese word (kodama) that someone told me is sort of a spirit of the forest, a fairy, but kodama sounds so much cooler!

"KODAMA" ?echo / tree spirit (fairy)
(1)Soul that stays in tree. tree fairy.
(2)(It had been thought the act of the soul
of the tree, in old days. )Echo of sound that happens in mountain and valley. It is that return the sound and the voice.

Kodama means "echo" (its literal meaning is a "tree spirit"). However, since its name is written in Katakana, not in Kanji, it could also mean "small ball" or "small spirit". They (there are many, in various sizes and shapes) are a kind of spirit who live in the forest.

I'm from a third world country named Venezuela (yes, it's a bad thing to say about my own country, but if I don't admit it, how can I change it?). It's a beautiful country, though, full of wonders. I'm not a native English speaker, so bear with me, please. I can't even speak properly in my own language, least on a different one! (I speak Spanish, as proven by a couple of my poems).

I write mostly poetry, mainly because I'm too lazy and scatterbrained to write something that requires a longer span of attention. I'm an ADD child and kinda hyperactive, but age has taught me how to slow down (else I'd had failed in Uni!). I have a mayor in Accounting and I work as a teacher (an English teacher, btw... it's sad, they let people like me teach little children... if they only knew! ;-D). Although being extremely absent-minded and out-of-there, I'm very intelligent (yeah, I know, you don't believe it either, but I have the psych tests to prove it!). Even being ADD I never had troubles at school or Uni, so I guess that's a good sign.

I ramble a lot. So, yeah... and I often forget what I was thinking right when I'm saying it, so I just stop talking and have to trace back my train of thoughts, it's so sad that it's almost funny.

I love chocolate and cookies, and ice cream, and blackberries, and lollipops and bubblegum, and everything sugary. I hate beet, sardines, liver and fried fish.

And that's pretty much it.
