FIREFLY-ERINMW IS NOW WRITING UNDER A NEW PENNAME, BLUEMILAGRO

So. You want to know about me. Well. Let's keep to the basics, shall we? No David Copperfield action here. I was born, grew, etc. Although I will tell you that I was born next to the beach in Southern California. :) I'm very happy to talk about this :D I live in Texas currently. I definitely prefer the Pacific to the ranches, the surfers to the cowboys. You can take the beach bum off the beach... you know how it goes. :)

I adore writing. Well, that's obvious -- I'm here, aren't I? :) I really hope you like what I have. Even if some of my stories are cheesy or silly or sappy or just plain sh*ty, I put a bit of my heart into each piece I've written. My current avatar, in fact, is a picture of me writing -- I was camped out for the evening at one of my favourite cafes here in town and, unbeknownst to me until later that evening, the man at the booth across from me was not only an artist, but he was sketching me as I wrote my second Re-Animator fanfic. (Still working on that bad boy as of Christmas '12!) I thought it was so beautiful, and it's perfect for this site. :)

Music is a GIGANTIC inspiration to me. You will note this in many of my stories -- I talk alot about what music inspired which scenes, etc. Currently, I've noticed that the three biggest artists that inspire my writing are Muse, Imogen Heap and Peter Gabriel, although there are dozens upon dozens of others that inspire me, as well. In alot of my stories, you will find the songs at the bottom of each chapter that helped inspire my writing each story, and each scene. I am an incredibly visual writer -- would it surprise you to learn I'm in school, studying to be a screenwriter? -- but I also depend alot upon my music, as well, to help me create said visuals. :)

Movies are, of course, what fuel my soul, outside of music and books. The ultimate trifecta, the three are. :) I am obsessed with horror films; I love Jeffrey Combs and Gary Oldman, I am madly in love with the Phantom of the Opera (the stage musical -- the movie is just meh for me -- Emmy Rossum can sing, she just can't sing Christine).

Also, I'd be more than happy to add you on Facebook, if you'd like! If so, please PM me and I will give you the necessary info. My one request is that, when you send me the friend request, please make a note in there about this website. "Hey, I'm a reader on FF.N!" I tend to delete friend requests of people I don't immediately recognize, unless they remind me. You know, safety precautions. :D Thanks!

CURRENT NEWS
AUGUST 2011. OK, so! Just today I've started the follow-up to my Re-Animator fanfic. :) It's going to be a WHILE before I put anything up, but I wanted you to know that it IS being worked on, and the publish is imminent (sp?) :P

APRIL 2012
The second installment of my ReAnimator fanfic was put up on the shelves for a spell as I went through school; I'm still enrolled, but I only have about two weeks or so left, and I'm now FINALLY dusting the story off and getting back to it. I am SO EXCITED to finish the darned thing -- well, not necessarily to FINISH, but I'm excited about finally getting back into it. I won't start uploading chapters until I'm done, as I want to make sure everything is perfect. When I'm done, and everything is looking good, I'll upload it in installments; maybe once or twice a week on certain days or something. :P So know this: There won't be anything in these coming two or three weeks, but this coming May and June will be HUGE. :D I can't wait for you to read what I've got! Thanks so very much for your patience!

JUNE 2012
Honestly, things are going very well for this new story of mine, it's just taking a liiiiiiiiiiittle bit longer to finish than I thought. Which, if you think about it, I guess is a good thing, 'cos that way I'm sure I've covered all my bases, knowhaddImean? :) Anyway. It's coming along beautifully; I would start posting chapters now, but I'm afraid I'll do that and then find a huge mistake along the way. Ugh, I hate when that happens. :) So, patience, please! When the story is done I'll upload a chapter or two a week. See you soon!

AUGUST 2012
This story is kicking my arse. Honestly, I don't think I've ever fought this much with a story in my friggin' life. And that's why this story is going to be uuh-MAAAZING. I will not tolerate anything less than perfect, which is why I've only written twenty-five or so pages in the past year. Which actually makes sense to me, because I've been copying and pasting and re-writing and re-editing and re-working and re-agenting just to breathe some life into this bastard. I'm building Herbert a heart, and it that is no small task when it comes to someone such as him... After all, as they say: birth is painful. I hope beyond anything I make anyone who reads this new story proud. I try so hard not to misrepresent him, and it's such a difficult task, this story here...
