Author has written 9 stories for X-Men: The Movie, Edward Scissorhands, Gemma Doyle Trilogy, Re-Animator, A.I., Rose Red, and Phantom of the Opera. ATTENTION READERS: So. You want to know about me. Well. Let's keep to the basics, shall we? No David Copperfield action here. I was born, grew, etc. Although I will tell you that I was born next to the beach in Southern California. :) I'm very happy to talk about this :D I live in Texas currently. I definitely prefer the Pacific to the ranches, the surfers to the cowboys. You can take the beach bum off the beach... you know how it goes. :) I adore writing. Well, that's obvious -- I'm here, aren't I? :) I really hope you like what I have. Even if some of my stories are cheesy or silly or sappy or just plain sh*ty, I put a bit of my heart into each piece I've written. My current avatar, in fact, is a picture of me writing -- I was camped out for the evening at one of my favourite cafes here in town and, unbeknownst to me until later that evening, the man at the booth across from me was not only an artist, but he was sketching me as I wrote my second Re-Animator fanfic. (Still working on that bad boy as of Christmas '12!) I thought it was so beautiful, and it's perfect for this site. :) Music is a GIGANTIC inspiration to me. You will note this in many of my stories -- I talk alot about what music inspired which scenes, etc. Currently, I've noticed that the three biggest artists that inspire my writing are Muse, Imogen Heap and Peter Gabriel, although there are dozens upon dozens of others that inspire me, as well. In alot of my stories, you will find the songs at the bottom of each chapter that helped inspire my writing each story, and each scene. I am an incredibly visual writer -- would it surprise you to learn I'm in school, studying to be a screenwriter? -- but I also depend alot upon my music, as well, to help me create said visuals. :) Movies are, of course, what fuel my soul, outside of music and books. The ultimate trifecta, the three are. :) I am obsessed with horror films; I love Jeffrey Combs and Gary Oldman, I am madly in love with the Phantom of the Opera (the stage musical -- the movie is just meh for me -- Emmy Rossum can sing, she just can't sing Christine). Also, I'd be more than happy to add you on Facebook, if you'd like! If so, please PM me and I will give you the necessary info. My one request is that, when you send me the friend request, please make a note in there about this website. "Hey, I'm a reader on FF.N!" I tend to delete friend requests of people I don't immediately recognize, unless they remind me. You know, safety precautions. :D Thanks! CURRENT NEWS APRIL 2012 JUNE 2012 AUGUST 2012 | |||||||
