Okay, you know how most people get hooked to anime by wathing the 'kid' shows and moving upward? Things like Sailor Moon or Pokemon? Well, get this, my first anime, the one that did it all, was Gundam Wing. Really weird 'cause I normally dont like futuristic setings or politics and that's what gundam wing is! Also funny is the fact that I pretty much understood everything in it when I was way young. O.o GAH! That's accutally rather pathetic.

I love anime its just some much fun to watch!! I'm interested in a variety of manga/anime, so many that I shall refrain from wrtting them down.

Im weird and annoying (well at least to my siblings). My life consists of school, school, and school. :D Teaching takes up a lot of my time now, and is very rewarding. So be patient with me. I know I haven't updated, but I'll get to it...eventually.

I will only be using honorifics in my stories, mainly because it's anoying to put random words in different languages in my story. Honorifics dont translate well so I'll be using the actual ones. I will also use some terms, like miko and such, just because it sounds better in that language. And just so you know, because I generally don't read or see the true japanese versions of the anime/manga, the honorifics that I use are purely at my own digression baised on the meaning and the personality of the person using it.

hanyou: half-demon

miko: prestess

youkai: demon

these are honorifics (like Mrs, Mr, Lord) they are always used in the japanese langauge for they are very formal and I know these ones are right, got them from CLAMP:

-san: this is the most common honorific, and is equivalent to Mr., Miss, Ms., Mrs., etc. It is the all-purpose honorific and can be used in any situation where politeness is required. It can also be used for enemies.

-sama: this is one level higher than "-san." It is used to confer great respect.

-dono: this comes from the word "tono," which means "lord." It is even a higher level than "-sama," and confers utmost respect. In recent times it is not as often used as it once was.

-kun: This suffix is used at the end of boys' names to express familiarity or endearment. It is also sometimes used by men among friends, or when addressing someone younger or of a lower station.

-chan: this is used to express endearment, mostly toward girls. It is also used for little boys, pets, and even among lovers. It gives a sense of childness cuteness.

Sempai: this title suggests that the addressee is one's "senior" in a group or organization. It is most often used in a school setting, where underclassmen refer to their upperclassmen as "sempai." it can also be used in the workplace, such as when a newer employee adresses an employee who has seniority in the company.

Kohai: this is the opposite of "-sempai," and is used toward underclassmen in shool or newcomers in the workplace. It notes that the addressee is of lower station.

Sensei: literally meaning "one who has come before," this title is used for teachers, doctors, or masters of any profession or art.

blank: usually forgotten in these lists, but perhaps the most significant difference between Japanses and English. The lack of honorific means that the speaker has permission to address the person in a very intimate way. Usually, only family, spouses, or very close friends have this kind of permission. known as yobisute, it can be gratifying when someone who has earned the intimacy starts to call one by one's name without an honorific. But when that intimacy hasn't been earned, it can also be very insulting.

Bozu: This is an informal way to refer to a boy, similar to the English term "kid" or "squirt."

Musings: Please do read at least the criticism.

Criticism is not "I hate this junk." It is a way in which to inform an author on how they can improve their story, not by giving your own ideals on how a plot should work, but on the style of writing or the use of dialouge. If you do not like the plot or pairing of a story, simply do not read it. No one but yourself is forcing you to.

Cliffhangers really, it's not only anoying but bad writing as well when an author tries to create a cliffhanger by stopping in the middle of a sentence. That is not a cliffhanger, it is a mere anoyance that should be swatted like a fly. (ex. They turned to see...) and thats the end of the chapter. Most cliffhangers like that could end wonderfully on the sentence before the incomplete one.

One thing that really gets me is when a story actually uses the honorifics than has the charaters, like two seconds into the first chapater say "just call me by my name i dont like _", it ruins the purpose of the honorifics.

I like quotes, if you read my story you'll get them, I'll have a quote for every chapter (hopefully) and they will hopefully give a little fortelling of what will happen in that chapter, or at least some essence of it.

PoV: Point of View. there should only be one!! First person: where the main character narates the story from their view using 'I' terms, Second person: where the narator is describing from outside the group, but in which you only have insight on the main character's thoughts (uses 'He' and 'She'), third person: the 'omni-persent' view, in which the narator is describing from outside the group, but in which you have insight on all the characters thoughts and feelings. Pick one and stick to it! If you need examples heres a few: First person: Crown Duel, Second person: Harry Potter, Third person, the Shannara series.

My story is in thrid person, so it might be a tad bit confusing to some people to read.

School: the torturous means to gain the ability to obtain a livelyhood that is enjoyable.

stories that have reviewers vote on the pairings = anoying, a story should be written by the author, all the aspects inclueding who likes who.

You know whats funny? Those summaries that have an OC and desribe that OC as 'blah' is just an average 'something.' Except that 'somthing' is completely unaverage. For example, Mary is just your average superstar teen looking for her lost family. What in that sentance is 'average?' Nothing, not a single thing. (well besides the name, but even that can be 'different') That just bugs me. If you going to do a real summary, try to do it well! Don't contridict oneself.

I have now decieded the world is full of idiots. You must be thinking 'wow this person is conceited.' But I speak honestly. I worked at a bank and you'd be freaking surprised at the stupid things people do! (One such example is: "I won the lottery!" teller: "did you enter a lottery?" person: "No." teller's thought: ...Than how the freaking cow did you win it? --aslo in the drivethrough, people will pull into the lanes that say 'off' and people will also drive up behind someone else that is being help...when theres like four other lanes wide open that they could use...)

"Reading the Books" fics. They are WRONG. I don't care how much you like them, or how well written the portions of the story that the Author actually wrote are, it is still wrong. I have never, in all my years as a ffreader, came across a "Reading the Books" fic that was not a blatant use of plagiarism and a huge infringement on the copyright of the material being used. I don't mind the idea of exploring the different character's reactions should they learn of Harry's life (I use harry potter because this is were the most reading the books fics are written). The problem lies with the fact that the "Author" of the story always ends up typing word-for-word the Harry Potter books. This is plagiarism, and an infringement upon the copyright. If you truly support the authors of your favorite works (and you should since your such a fan!), than please do not write or support a "Reading the Books" fic. If you do, your basically supporting a thief to steal from your beloved author. (the thief in question may not get any money from the theft, but they are still a thief. They are posting the hard-work of another author without permission on a free site where anyone can read the material without first purchasing the copy.) Please support the authors who have worked hard at their craft to create enjoyable stories for us to read and love.
