I believe in myself because that's all I need to believe in. Hey, I thought I'd update this profile. I have officially graduated from college with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree in English. I'm currently unemployed, and the job market sucks right now. My favorite fandoms to write for are TMNT and Powerpuff Girls. I'm going to be posting some of my PPG fics very soon. My hobbies are: Reading, writing, listening to music, watching TV, playing Nintendo Wii, and spending time with my boyfriend. I first got into fan fiction when I started writing my own episodes for The Powerpuff Girls, not realizing that what I was doing was fan ficton. When a friend pointed this out to me, I became intrigued. Then I joined this site, and the rest is history. While my stories are here, some of them are also at Stealthy Stories and Mikey's TMNT (both TMNT forums). So, if you're a member of either of those sites, you'll be seeing some of my work there. Important Note: If you read any of my stories here and they appear in either bold print, italics, or underlined, it's the site's fault and not mine. I've tried to fix it by trying to edit the document for my latest story, but it won't work. So, you'll just have to bear with me. It's not my fault, and it's really starting to bug me that the site is doing this. I may have to report this to them to get it fixed. I just thought I'd let you guys know so you don't get freaked out and think that I did this stuff. Update: 8/5/09 I still don't have a job. I really hate life right now because of this. I figured that by now I'd have a job and would be making money of my own. Unfortunately, there's nothing there, and that sucks. Sorry to sound so negative, but it's just frustrating. I worked for six years to get a college degree, and I have nothing to show for it. Nice, huh? I do hope things get better, but I honestly doubt they will anytime soon. Update: 4/10/08 Well, the 2007 TMNT Fan Fic Awards have come and gone. Dear Leo was nominated for Best Drama and A Warrior's Pain II: Hiding Away was nominated for Best Tragedy/Angst. Sadly, neither of my stories won in those categories, but I didn't expect that they would. I'm not saying I'm a bad writer, but I definitely can't compete with some of the awesome writers who did win. I want to congratulate those who did win the awards. You guys truly deserve them! I also want to thank those that did nominate me for the awards, and I want to congratulate the comp team. You guys were awesome. Here's hoping we have a good comp next year too.
