I thought I could make this interesting, but apparently I can't, so I'll just cut to the good stuff.
I LOVE books.
My favorites are Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Dragonlance,
Watership Down, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Catch-22, The Great
Gatsby, The Count of Monte Cristo, Shakespeare, pretty much anything by Neil Gaiman, Everything Is Illuminated...I could go on.
I love movies almost as much.
Moulin Rouge, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Army of Darkness, Star
Wars, The Phantom of the Opera, Airplane!, V for Vendetta, Kill Bill 1
& 2, Snakes on a Plane, The Princess Bride and so on.
TV is fun too. The
only shows I watch religiously are House, Lost and Scrubs, but I also like
cartoons (especially old ones), 90's Nickelodeon shows, and just about
anything on the Food Network, History Channel, Discovery, or Discovery
Health (unless it's about someone who has triplets or above).
I like music too, but let's not go there.
My heroes
are Ash from the Evil Dead series, Bugs Bunny, Raistlin Majere, Dr.
Gregory House, Severus Snape, Blackadder, and Yossarian.
I'd list Oskar Schindler, but I have a policy that only fictional
characters can be my heros.
My fictional crushes are Raistlin,
House, Dr. James Wilson (let it be known that this is the first time
I'm admitting this. Come on, he's cute!), Snape, Sirius Black, Remus
Lupin, Captain Jack Sparrow, and Gil-Galad.
I live my life according to Fark.com, homestarrunner.com, and Facebook groups.
I strongly believe that there will be a zombie and/or robot apocolypse
in the near future and I fully intend to be prepared for it. I am a
pirate.
I mostly read Harry Potter
fiction, and almost entirely
humor fics about Sirius, Remus or Snape. It's pretty much all I write
about too. I like some ships, but mostly I tend to avoid romance stuff.
Occassionally I'll venture into the realms of Dragonlance,
House or Lost, but that's about it. I also write nonfiction or non-fandom-related stories
occasionally, but am usually more inspired to write fanfic.
As for ships I like (though I only really care about the first
one), they are as follows: Sirius/Remus (don't even speak to me of
Remus/Tonks; I won't hear of it), Sayid/Shannon
(sunk), Charlie/Claire (soon to sink?), Ron/Hermione (yes, you H/H
ships are delusional), and House/Cameron (but not really romantically;
one is going to use the other and that's it, you just wait.). I hate,
as I said before, Remus/Tonks and also Kate/Sawyer.
