I LIVE!! (7.5.09) Happy Belated Fourth everyone!! I have been on a little hiatus (I know, again, I'm sorry) because my writing lately has been on original works, leading up to...FINISHING MY THIRD NOVEL! Yeah! It was high time this got done. It's been like a year in the making. I'll have to dedicate it whenever I'm published to my fiance who has been pivotal in encouraging me. Life-wise I'm job searching, a taxing and irritating task. Big interview for, of all things, a life insurance company, on Monday. Ugh. Um, I have also been working out a lot (but not enough to lose the 15 pounds I want to take off) and battling Chronic Paronychia, a bizarre "infection" in my toe that came about because I somehow managed to destroy my cuticles on both big toes (probably from bad shoes). So I have this daily regiment of hardcore antibiotic, topical antifungal/Cortisone cream and freaking droplets of bleach on my toes. I might finally be getting results too. Oi.

Anyway, just needed to say I have not forgotten you all! Just been crazy...ugh. Hopefully updates and inspiration will rush in and help me out, tho I gotta say I have been really enjoying writing the original stuff again. Maybe there's hope for me to be published just yet.

5/11/09 At long last I have returned with an update for Return! YAY! I am also now a college graduate major in English Writing, minor in Biology. And I am engaged. Yeah...it's been a busy few weeks! Hopefully Innocence will be finished shortly with its last update.

Good News all! I have been hired by a website as a contributing writer. I have four articles right now and soon-ish I'll get paid! Yippee! I think that qualifies as being published, which will help me in my lackadaisical search for a book publisher and agent. Yay!

UPDATE (6.15.08) I changed information on Innocence because the story has gotten darker and I realized that the genres it was listed under have become inaccurate. I almost, considering my latest chapter, wanted to put it under "Horror" but I decided not to do that because that isn't a key element of the tale. There's a lot of gore in Inuyasha (kinda) to begin with, but it's more about how the characters cope, and so its the same with Innocence. My horror elements will calm eventually. Anyway...I might have to do the same thing with Return as parts of it are dark too but those will improve faster than those in Innocence.

(4.09.08) Updates on Innocence, and Return. They're just so addictively fun. I Miss You is stalling, for that I REALLY am sorry. I have this fear of completing it, like I'm going to fail because I, me, little tiny unanimated me, with no sword and no friends to help me, have to essentially defeat Naraku. Ugh. I got the same way for a while with With Our Arms Wide Open because I had to slaughter my bad guys there, but they were easier and they hung around lingeringly for a while. Naraku just has to die and he has to do it right or he makes me look bad. Talk about pressure.

(3.18.08)To Lifestyle:no it wasn't you! Even if you had said it I wouldn't be offended. I wasn't offended by the reviewer who did say it because it was valid criticism, far from flaming. Your reviews have always been well thought out and your suggestions for Kasai were actually helpful, not the least bit insensitive or discouraging. Thank you for the birthday wishes! Unfortunately my boyfriend isn't into sports all that much. If he was he might be a little healthier, methinks.

Anyway to everyone (THANK YOU for the reviews!), today is my birthday! Yippee-ty skippety. I finished my immediate homework, my ring size is a ridiculous 3 and 3/4ths, midterm sucks ass (pardon my French) my boyfriend went to the hospital with heart attack like symptoms, was told he was severally dehydrated, went back to his dorm to sleep, and...I updated Innocence. A birthday can't go by without that.

I'm 22 today. An even number. A boring number. A number divisible by 11...huh...

Completed: The Mirror and So Much for the Hanyou's Happy Ending (hitherto I'm going to simply call that one "Hanyou," kay?) and Somebody's Waiting For Me. Also, With Our Arms Wide Open, and Runaway.

Others/On hiatus: Was It All A Dream?(it was too evil!) Mad Season (it's a oneshot for now that will likely be expanded later) and Women In Black (again, more later, I do about two at a time.)

Future Ideas: I'm going to list my thoughts for potential stories here and their titles and such, if you really like one email me or review one of my other stories to tell me so, or to make a suggestion, kay? FYI: I name all my stories, if I can, after songs...can you recognize them all? (grins)

You Are My Only One

Summary: A companion to "Hanyou" but this time telling what's become of Sesshomaru and Rin...When the dog demon clan sends Sesshy its idea of the proper mate and mother of his heir, Rin suddenly finds her life as "concubine" too much of a torture. She runs away to the only others that just might take her in--Inuyasha and Kagome. (there that's just a slice of what I have planned out...(winks))

Sum: The story, as I would imagine, of Inutaisho's beginnings, becuase the question of WHY he was so powerful always plagues me, I mean, what made him so different? That would be the question I'd answer here...

Had A Bad Day Again
Genre: Humor/Romance (maybe)

Sum: Kagome's birthday has come around with surprising swiftness...but it's not the merry time she hoped it would be, especially when Inuyasha loses his temper on her special day. Poor Kagome!

Gifts and Curses
Genre: Humor/romance
Rating: PG-R
Sum: When Inuyasha angers a monkey god with a sense of humor he curses the hanyou, making him live as a mortal for one week. But powers can't simply disappear into thin air, so Inuyasha's abilities are passed to Kagome for one week. Can Kagome handle the changes? Can Inuyasha handle Kagome!

Hungry Like The Wolf
Genre: Romance/Humor
Rating: (PG equivalent or) M
Sum: What happens when, after the defeat of Naraku, Kagome and Inuyasha become mates and Kouga comes to collect "his woman." How can the couple finally get the wolf demon to catch the drift? Literally...(snickers) (Likely a one-shot)

Sum: A series of short chapters that are in themselves one-shots. It might flesh out back stories, or continue old stories or just certain characters from those stories. (If you want more info on this one see my above paragraph).

Sum: In my story Somebody's Waiting For Me Kagome is left with amnesia and cut off from her friends...this story would be like it only in the amnesia department. But instead of Kagome losing her memory...waht if it was Inuyasha? What's our favorite half dog-demon to do when he can't remember anything...(including things like Kikyo and Naraku...? hehe)

WHO I am: A college graduate! English writing major. Minor in Biology. Many of you have noted or will note that I use biology in my stories. That's common for me. Also you may note that in With our Arms Wide Open I use paleontology (the villain is a creodont, an extinct group of carnivorous mammals). And in Return I call on modern genetics to turn Sesshomaru into a human with a virus. Yeah! So yes, I try to shake things up, make them creative.
WHERE: I live somewhere between Hell and Paradise. Literally. I mean it. They're both towns in this part of the world, as is a place called Gay.

Interests: Right now I'm only doing Inuyasha fics. If anyone wants me to do other stuff write me...but I couldn't promise anything. These days I don't have too much time. I enjoy the character interactions of the Inuyasha anime, but I haven't been able to watch much of it, especially lately. And I'll confess I've never really read the manga.
