Life sucks. That about sums it. The older i get the more i realize how much it sucks. Normalcy is a farce, a fairy tale that people delude themselves into believing the other person has. The grass is not greener on the other side. It has just as many weeds, and probably has rat holes to boot.

On that totally depressing note, I will have to announce that Fated Rain has been put on hold until further notice. I am way too overwhelmed with real life, and distracted by turtles when not overwhelmed and drowning to even think of working on it. All hopes for its progression blew up with my last computer. Perhaps one day it will be finished. I would suggest for fans to check it out this time next year in 2009.

It is also about time I introduce some new stories that i am currently obsessing over. If you enjoyed my writing, then you should enjoy these fics written by writers who far surpass me!!!

Walking the Line » Old masks come back to haunt, and it’s time for the brothers to let one of the most important things go...time for a wedding, a funeral, a reunion, growing up. Sequel to Of Honor and Innocence and What Cannot Be Fixed.

These TMNT fics were written by Aubretia Lycania. A trilogy based on the 2007 TMNT movie. Wonderfully dark and twisted, I read and I believed. Beyond deep, Aub's fics make the English Major in me salivate. A must read for TMNT fans...though i do have to warn you, it deals with turtlecest (very mild in my opinion) in a very realistic way...and because of her i can never look at Leonardo the same way. Best thing is...IT IS COMPLETE...though she says she is working on a fourth installment...::glee::

2. Love and War » by Mikage-chan Four years after coming to Shin Makoku, Yuuri is forced to confront his feelings when a situation with the humans incites a marriage between himself and Wolfram. Warning: Spoilers.

I love Kyo Kara Maoh! I love Wolfram and Yuuri. I love politics an drama and war and dark stuff. This has them all. FEAST!

3. Folly and Sin » by Crimson Vixen YAOI IxK Ikki tries to understand a new enemy and fix his friendship at the same time. Ah, boys will be boys

I have to be honest. i HATE Air Gear. I tried the anime, I tried the manga. It paid waaaay too much attention to annoying girls boobs and panties. It could have been good...it still might be good from what i hear in later chapters of the manga, but ive given up trying to read it. HOWEVER a good fic is a good fic, and this is a GREAT fic by Crimson Vixen.

4. Growing Pains and Orange Bitters » by Serendipity1 Michelangelo experiences some new feelings towards his brother, and they're not exactly welcome. But the further you suppress something, the more it takes out of you, and it's only a matter of time before you just let it out.

OMG ::spazzes and dies:: i love this fic...I LOVE THIS FIC. Trust me, like Aubretia Lycania, this authoress with mad l33t skills took a sensitive issue of turtlecest and treated it as exactly what it is...something serious. The fic is deceptive for it starts out very humerous (from michelangelo's perspective) but it goes down and spirals and crashes, and if you are depressed i would suggest that you not read it until you are in a VERY good mood cause...yea. Im done gushing.

5. Dancing with Demons » by Daystar Clarion Growing up with a pack of Demons is easy, especially when the older he gets, the more a demon Naruto becomes. But when the pack is killed by shinobi, Naruto vows revenge by learning to use his ever growing Chakra. Meeting team Seven, his journey begins.

You guys had to have known i would add a Naruto fic. This fic needs one word to describe it: Dark. This is not the naruto we all know and love. He was raised by demons, and he had no problem killing things...and people...and feasting. Not for people with weak stomaches. Perfect for the Tristripe.

6. What Is Inevitable » by kytyngurl2 After harsh words and a long period of time... is there any way you can really come home again? Raph and his family struggle to find out. AU 2007 Movie branchaway.

Ahh kyt. This is a GEM among the TMNT fanfics. Too bad she doesnt realize how much depths is in this fic. Its the only one where the turtles are adults that I can read and not roll my eyes. It needs to get done, especially after the last chapter that was updated (which made me teary eyed) Beautiful, dark, and unbelievably heartbreaking. A must read for anyone who loves a story of brotherhood and family.

7. Underdark » by Nekotsuki He’s hanging upside down in the middle of the great underdark, weighed down by a half hysterical turtle in the middle of a bunch of pipes and water and rock that are conspiring to kill us both off, and Leo still manages to sound like he Has A Plan.

::cries:: another TMNT fic about brotherhood, and i just WISH Nekotsuki would write more in this fandom!!! Another great fic totally from Michelangelo's eyes, with humor angst and loads and loads of darkness. it is complete, so GO, READ, NOW!

8. Sacrifice » Yaoi, NaruSasu, AU. The Uchiha clan has to make peace with Konoha after years of enmity. To ensure the truce, they hand over one of their own.

I have been reading Arigatomina's fics for YEARS, and this one though only two chapters so far and has me reeling. One thing that astounds me is that this fic is Naru/Sasu (i am a Sasu/Naru fan) and I was totally loving it. She says there is no plot, and not to expect anything more than smut...but there was plot in the background and the smut made me drool. I loved it. If you are a naruto yaoi fan you will love it as well. Just hope she updates it again...soon...

1) "Borderline" - Yu Yu Hakusho AU. Kurama is the model highschool student and the perfect son...at least that is what he is percieved to be. It only takes one look from the homeless stray to know that nothing is as it seems. Dark. (Kurama/Hiei)

2) "Domination" - TMNT. An AU of Aubretia Lycania's TMNT fic "Walking the Line". Splinter has not returned and the brother's are beginning to think the worst. Michelangelo has long suspected his eldest brother had hurt Raphael when they were kids, but he could never imagine how his words would effect Leonardo when he asks, "What did you do to him?"
