Author has written 15 stories for Smallville, Stargate: Atlantis, Stargate: SG-1, and Doctor Who.

June 16, 2007- Where am I? I seem to be lost in the horrible vastness of "real life". "Real Life" being raising and educating six children, cooking for and cleaning up after aforementioned children, trying to keep a rapidly decaying house stuck together (duct tape is wonderful and truly a gift from God), and writing original work. Will I be writing any fanfiction? I always have new ideas flying around unhindered in my brain but rarely get the chance to actually capture them and slap them onto paper. Okay, will I be writing any fanfiction soon? God, I hope so. Writing original work is fun and creative but unrewarding-- no reviews to stir me and keep me working. Why did I update this bio again? Because I'm bored.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I began writing and illustrating my work in the second grade. When I was sixteen, I took some time off to be a mom and kind of liked the job. Now, fifteen years and six kids later, I spend any free time reawakening my love for writing.

I hope you are entertained by my work. Have a blessed day!

John 3:16

My favorite TV programs are:

24 -- OMG!!!! This show is awesome! Set aside that Kiefer Sutherland is the star, this show literally keeps you jumping in your seat. Here is how I recommend watching it: buy the season on dvd, find a straight uninterrupted 24 hour period, start the first dvd on the first hour that the show starts, and each subsequent episode on the hour. This gives you the show in real real time and give you about 13 minutes in between episodes to move around, get food, squeal, etc. Season 1 begins at midnight before going to bed, Season 2 begins at 8am, Season 3 begins at 1pm, Season 4 begins at 7am and Season 5 begins at 7am. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll get pissed, you'll yell and you'll scream and you will need a few days to recover from this marathon just because of the emotional rollercoaster you will have been on for 24 hours.

Enterprise -- Okay, set aside the original Star Trek series as untouchable and this is the best of all the sequel series'. I love the characters, the friendship, the ship, the inexperience. It's too bad people were so burnt out by the other, less loveable spin-offs.

X-Files -- Aliens +monsters + ghosts +conspiracies= addictive tv show. Chris Carter is to scifi tv what Stephen King is to horror novels.

Smallville -- The first two seasons were creative and entertaining. The third kind of went a little wonky and four was too full of anger for my liking. I never followed the comics so I have no idea if any of the episodes came from hints in them but whoever decided to make Jor-El a power-hungry tyrant, did the story injustice. And whoever thought up the mystic alien writing on the cave walls and secret chamber therein, should never be allowed to write for tv again. It is a good show but not one that I could really bury myself in, not any more.

StarGate SG-1 -- My first sci-fi series. Truly. The characters are easy to love and the action is practically unbeatable. While I miss his very much, I think Colonel O'Neill should have died defending his planet rather than stuck behind a desk somewhere. However, I am looking forward to seeing how well 'Cam Shaft' Mitchell does as leader of SG-1.

CSI -- Yes, I know, the speed at which these cases are processed and solved is completely illogical but the characters are great and it is great fun trying to solve the case before the team does.

StarGate Atlantis -- I was skeptical but the producers have done a wonderful job creating loveable characters and exciting stories.

The Dukes of Hazzard -- I don't care who you are, when you hear that horn and see that orange car 'flattenin the hills and straightenin the curves', your inner being wants to yell "YEE-HAW!".

Dresden Files-- I really like! You can't go into it comparing it to the books though.

My favorite movies are:

Star Wars-- ALL of them

Lord of the Rings-- a grand adventure

Moulin Rouge-- the ultimate love story

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy-- very funny, very true to the chaotic rhythm of the books

The Island-- unlimited money + moral-less doctors = The Island

Independence Day-- the way it would really happen

Face Off-- "Wee, what a predicament!"-- An angst fest on rails!

Ghost Rider-- Highly recommended, a "must own" movie.

This list could go on for miles but I'll stop there (for now).

Some favorite quotes:

The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return. --Christian, Moulin Rouge

I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. --Philippians 4:13

I'd rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't a God and find out there is.

May the Force be with you.

What man is a man that does not make the world better. Balian, Kingdom of Heaven

Your focus determines your reality. --Qui-Gon Jinn

A few favorite books:

The Chronicles and Second Chronicles of Thomas Covenant by Stephen Donaldson-- My favorite fantasy series when I was young. Written somewhat simply but a grand adventure. Note The Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant are coming out!

Tyrants and Kings trilogy by John Marco-- Not a fantasy story in the line of elves and dragons but a world at war with itself. Complete with castles and battle-cats and magic. Even a bit of a love story.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams-- It is science fiction at it's chaotic best.
