Author has written 15 stories for Waking the Dead, Without a Trace, Royal, Harry Potter, and Alias. I first started writing fanfiction back in 2001 I think though possibly a little later. I started in The Royal and Heartbeat fandoms and then as they say the rest is history. About August 2006 I gave up writing fanfiction but I'd left a trilogy incomplete so I came back. I finished posting Fools Game on the 29th December 2008. However, coming back into the fanfic realm was a mistake as it has sucked me back in. I had given up to concentrate writing original works. However, I suppose that there isn't any real harm in it. It's keeping me writing regularly and I can't be serious all the time. Plus the more you write the more you improve. I welcome, encourage, pretty much beg for constructive criticism. If you have the time and the inclination, tear it apart, I want to know what you think was bad, I want to know what I need to do better. However, I've considered it and I've decided not too. I've just signed up for a course called 'How to Revise Your Novel' which, as the title suggests, needs a novel to go through the process. I'm going to use the novel I just finished writing, my 2009 NaNoWriMo novel Perfidy. I had thought I'd revise my 2008 NaNoWriMo novel Faithless but I'm more in tune with Perfidy. So my revision book is quite full enough. Plus fanfiction is my playground, somewhere I can try new things, practice my pacing and my plot, and tell stories that beg to be written. It's not something I want to spend hours over making it perfect. I'll do my best when I write it and make sure there aren't any spelling or grammar errors and that's where it ends. At the moment I have a J/S christmas fic at beta. Currently I'm writing an R/T fic for the Metamorphic Moon Christmas Advent Challenge. After that I will probably pen part two and three of my crossover fic, which I don't care that hardly anyone reads as it is so much fun to write. That's fanfic, I'm also trying to keep writing original works year round (rather than just for NaNoWriMo). I signed up for a course 'How to Think Sideways' and that requires a writing project so I'll be doing that. Plus of course more fanfic with whatever I'm inspired to write.
