Author has written 5 stories for Lord of the Rings. Hi all, I'm PurpleHat. I'm a long long time fan of LoTR, and have read it something like 25 times over the years. I still vividly remember the first time I read it, absolutely spell bound, barely stopping to eat or sleep. It took me four days. And I was so filled with sorrow at finishing it, and having to leave Middle-Earth, that I immediately started reading it again. Aloud. To my reluctant younger sister. Yep, every word of it. I must have fannish tendencies, for over the years, I have had flirtations with Star Trek ToS, Kung Fu (the TV series that predated KF The Legend Continues) and Harry Potter (inspired, I am ashamed to say by Jason Isaacs in a blond wig) Offline, I live in the UK, have kids, cats and a business to run.
