Yo!

Me Red Dwarf Addict, I'm a 16 year old hormonally driven girl... and don't look at me like that.

My purpose:

My only purpose in the fanfic world is to bash the Doctor up reeeeeal good (with a plot to entirely justify the whumping of course - in most cases, anyway). I don't support any ships in any fandoms of any kind.

"WHAT?!" I hear you ask, "you've written loads of TenRose fics! Don't lie!" I deny it! I write TenRose only 'cause people ask me to. Besides, it's also fun so who's complaining? I love diversity of a love story in the middle of utter commotion, it makes it more interesting to write, and read. Well, that's what I've convinced myself... :P

Who I DON'T write:

There is a reason I don't write Martha. It's 'cause I can't write her... believe me I've tried. Whenever I write characters just come to me naturally but she just won't click into place. If I have to write her I give her short sentences and limited movement. Donna's easy - she's got a very similar character to Jackie, whilst Rose is easy.

Though, gotta admit, I don't like Martha that much anyway. She had the potential to be a good character but she was portrayed as whiny and annoying. I liked her to begin with but slowly I've grown to hate her. Even my dad doesn't like her that much and his point of view hasn't been tinted by all this internet TENROSE OR DIE stuff.

I also will never write a pure Nine fic. He occassionally does cameos every now and then but I'll never write a pure one.

Mary-Sueism:

Mary-Sues? Eh! I try to avoid new characters with a substantial part in the story as much as possible. Sometimes it can't be helped. I'll admit, I have gone a little mad in Ramble 4 over it all, but I've already decided it'll be the last one so that's safe.

Other notes:

I dislike self-insert fics. Now, that may not apply to YOUR one. I tried reading a self-insert fic - it was so terrible, it put me off them for a while. I sprang back and decided to read another - AWFUL. Then another... keep with the style, there. So now I just don't read them.

If I had it my way, I'd delete all the obvious crap from this site (but of course, not myself, I can't really delete myself 'cause then I can't delete other people). If you don't know them check out The Masked Reviewer's profile and purpose. Now THERE'S someone to aspire to. I want to do that. If you can't write, get offa this site! (Oh wow, that's quite good actually. That should be FF.net's new slogan).

Oh, and I dislike slash. It's gut instinct. I couldn't care less about gays/bis/lesbians/whatever 'cause I know a few, and their sexual inclinations are their own. It makes me feel uncomfortable reading stuff like that - I've been raised that way, I guess. Also, in my eyes, unless a character specifically states they're gay, there's no right to make them gay. DoctorMaster fics for instance. Nooooo. Ewww. Go away.
