Reba
Brock: Reba, guess what? Barbra Jean was out barhopping last night.
Reba throws "Reba's Cocktail Napkin Scrapbook" into the living room.
Reba: Oh really, how do you know that?
Brock: Oh this golf buddy of mine is the bartender over at the Blue Lounge.
Reba: Oh yea.
Brock: Yea he said she was cruising with some slutty friend.
Reba: Well maybe your friend, should stop judging his customers and learn how to make a pink squirrel. Plus, I bet you the women was perfectly lovely.
Brock: Well who cares about her, she's probably just some old tramp. No, the point is Barbra Jean missed our therapy session last night, which I find really rude and inconsiderate. Yea, I'm sitting there, pouring my heart out to this guy. You have no idea what that feels like.
Reba: Oh, yea I do Brock, when we were going through our divorce, I spent hours with the therapist trying to fix our relationship, but you were out with Barbra Jean. Well guess what, now I'm off with Barbra Jean what do you think about that?
Brock looks really confused.
Brock What? You were out with Barbra Jean last night?
Reba: Yes, I'm the slutty friend! Surprise!
Reba throws her hands in the air.
Brock looks shocked.
Reba: Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go put on my warpaint, cuz Barbra Jean and I are going out man-hunting.
Reba begins to leave and as she does she says...
Reba: Can i get a WOO-HOO!!
The audience screams the biggest WOO-HOO ever.
Brock is still in shock.
Cheyenne: Mom, are you all right? You're acting weird.
Reba: Oh I'm doing great! You know, I'm takin' this new high blood pressure medication and it's really workin'.
Cheyenne: (gives Reba a suspicious look) Are you smokin' that medication?
Reba: You are so funny!
Barbra Jean: Oh, Reba, that is so beautiful! You know, you and I may have very different styles of mothering. But the bottom line is, we are good mothers. We are good!
Reba: Where's Henry?
Barbra Jean: Crap! (runs off to find her son)
Reba: Oh really? (To Cheyenne and Van) well you could not be more wrong! Cause I'm gonna do something that Barbra Jean would never do. I'm gonna leave, and never come back.
(Reba exits and Cheyenne and Van look at each other then Reba comes back in mad)
Reba: AND YOU'RE GONNA MISS ME WHEN I'M GONE (Slams the door)
Reba: Don't you see what's happening here? You're becoming Brock, Brock's becoming me, and I'm becoming you!
Reba: I'm becoming Barbra Jean? Why couldn't I just be Dolly Parton?
Reba looks down at her chest and shakes her head no.
The X-Files
Mulder: Are you staying on there, Scully?
Scully: No. I'm coming back tonight.
Mulder: Look, I know this is a pretty horrific case, but if …
Scully: I'm okay with it, Mulder. Anyway you could use my help.
Mulder: Always.
Scully: They called me in today.
Mulder: What did you tell them?
Scully: That nothing was wrong.
Mulder: Well, you told them the truth then.
Scully: Mulder, you opened the door for them, they're just looking for a good reason now.
Mulder: Okay, I'll say I'm sorry.
Scully: Mulder, these files. Who knows you have them?
Mulder: Why?
Scully: Because I had to lie today. And I put my job in jeopardy in order to do so. If they find out about those files -
Mulder: How would they find out?
Scully: Maybe they already know. The question is, is it worth it? Is this cassette worth risking everything?
Mulder: I'll tell you when I find out what's on it. Now just tell me who I can talk to about breaking that code!
Scully: I'm meeting with someone in an hour. I might know something later tonight... I just need some kind of assurance that they're not going to let us hang ourselves with this! That I'm doing the right thing.
Mulder: I'll try to find out. (He tapes an 'X' to the window)
Scully: I need to know one more thing Mulder. Why did you attack Skinner?
Mulder: I've thought about that Scully. I honestly can't say.
Scully: You've always said that you want to believe. But believe in what Mulder? If this is the truth that you've been looking for then what is left to believe in?
Mulder: I want to believe that the dead are not lost to us. That they speak to us as part of something greater than us - greater than any alien force. And if you and I are powerless now, I want to believe that if we listen to what's speaking, it can give us the power to save ourselves.
Scully: Then we believe the same thing.
(Mulder climbs onto the bed so that they are holding each other)
Mulder: (whispers) Maybe there's hope.
Kallenbrunner: Well, what I mean is, you have no proof to back up one word you just told us. (Scully is silent) Agent Scully, isn't it true that you and Mulder were lovers, and you got pregnant and had his love child?
Skinner: Objection!
Kallenbrunner: Thank you. Next witness
Scully: (Crying) Our son, Mulder. I gave him up... I gave him up.
Mulder: (Crying) I know you had to... I just miss William so much...
Scully: Guilty on a lesser charge. Maybe they'll go for it, let you walk out of here.
Mulder: I'd rather die, Scully. I'd rather die than give them what they want.
Scully: How can you say that -to me?
Mulder: This is greater than you or me. This is about everything we've worked for, for nine years. The truth we've both sacrificed so much to uncover.
Mulder: We are so close now.
Scully: I'm asking you to let it go.
Mulder: It's not that easy.
Scully: No, it's complicated.
Mulder: What it is supposed to mean?
Scully: Something that I knew would happen, that I've been afraid of, but I haven't had to face until now.
Mulder: What? Just say it.
Scully: I'm a doctor, Mulder. That's not my life anymore.
Mulder: I know that.
Scully: You're not understanding me. I can't look into the darkness with you anymore. Mulder, I cannot stand what it does to you, or to me.
Mulder: I'm fine with it, Scully, I'm actually OK. I'm good.
Scully: And that's what scares me.
Mulder: Where else would you have me to look if you want me to find those women alive?
Scully: I'm asking you to look at yourself.
Mulder: Why? I don't think I'm the one who's changed.
Scully: I'm not FBI anymore, Mulder. We are two people who come home at night. To our home now. I don't want that darkness in my home.
Mulder: Scully, this is what I am. It's what I've always been, this is what I was before I met you. This is what I do, it's everything I know.
Scully: Write it down. Put it in a book.
Mulder: Are you asking me to give up?
Scully: No. I can't tell you to do that Mulder. But I can tell you that... I won't be coming home.
Mulder: Everybody is giving up, but I'm not going to.
Scully: Mulder, you think I don't understand but I do. This stubborness of yours... That's why I fell in love with you.
Mulder: As you said, that's why we can't be together.
Mulder: I can feel you thinking.
Scully: Sorry. I can't sleep.
Mulder: Actually, I have a little something for that.
Scully: Just a little something?
Mulder: Thank you.
