Author has written 33 stories for Naruto, Scrapped Princess, Maria-sama ga Miteru, and Misc. Anime/Manga. For the first time, I've written two stories that have, in different ways, totally gone outside the boundaries of what I normally write. Therefore I felt moved to provide some kind of brief rationale, if you will, behind each of the stories. Nineteen Years Old - Yes, compared to anything else I've written, this was really over the top, melodramatic angst. In the initial burst of writing, the extra angsty bits were absent, but reading over it, the whole piece looked emotionally flat and rushed. So I decided to pad the middle a little with some hints of what I envisioned going through Hinata's head. It's a bit angsty, but think about how you might have felt, alone, in a dark room at midnight, after an experience like that, with no comfort and no hope of reprieve...does that make the angst make a little more sense? I'm not making any predictions at all about what is going to happen, this is just a fanfic which shows one of infinite possibilities. Also, I was hoping to fill a gap in the Hinata fics that are already out there. C Rank Mission - This story was something so different to anything I've written before. When I wrote it, I didn't even think of it as girl x girl at all. I started off inspired by the idea of the androgynous beauty that is showcased by Japanese boy bands etc these days, and decided to go the other way - an androgynously beautiful girl. The physical stuff between Sakura and Kai wasn't supposed to be the point of the story. It was more a fictional exploration of the human connections that a shinobi could forge while on a mission, and the tragedy being that these connections could never develop or come to a conclusive outcome. Really, I felt that the dialogue between the two girls and Kai helping Sakura with the yukata was far more significant than anything else. At the part where Sakura examines herself in the mirror of the change room, I was also trying to give an insight into how Kai might have seen her - as a fragile, beautiful thing which awoke feelings of attraction in Kai on some level. I guess I'm trying to say that when I wrote it, I had a lot of things going through my mind, and creating a PWP of hot girl on girl action was the least of them. 26/01/09 - To Protect has been updated!
