Introduction:

Good day, and welcome to my page! I'm TheShamanMaster. I'm currently 18 years of age, and I live in the UK. I'm studying Media Studies, Photography & English in college at the moment. My hobbies and interests include Rock/Heavy Metal music, Anime & Manga, Sports, Graphics & Art, Gaming, General IT, Writing reviews and fanfiction and generally hanging out! My favourite food is Pasta, and I like drinking OJ (or alcohol if anyone's got any LOL).

History of Penname:

Back in 2004, I was thinking of a name other then my infamous alias, Red Eyes Metal. (If you're on a forum or Youtube, and you see the name 'Red Eyes Metal' or RedEyesMetal without the spaces that's probably me.) At the time, I had just started to watch Shaman King, so I decided to add the word 'master' to it. Other aliases I've had in the past include: Mr Zero, Silent Swordsman, Sharigan no Kakashi, & Uchiha Naruto.

Been writing Fanfiction since 2006.

Favorite Types Of Fanfiction:

Well, I like all types of FanFiction. My most favorite has to be Humour or Comedy stories. I like a good laugh every now and then. I like it even more when some characters go OOC! Brings flavor into it! Plus, I like Action and Romance or both together. Horror/Supernatural I'll read if it looks interesting, but I like Humour & Romance more then anything else. Parodies are good also, but I don't see enough of them. Angst, I'll enjoy if it's mixed with either Romance or Action.

My Style of Writing:

Just to let everyone know about how I write fanfiction on anime/manga. I am a 'subby' not 'dubby', meaning in my stories you'll see an extra 'u' in names and terms such as Hyuuga, Toushirou, Kuurama, Chuunin and Jounin etc. My characters are displayed with last name first, for a more original feel. e.g 'Uzumaki Naruto', 'Hitsugaya Toshiro'. Some spellings I use the official ones, but I do like the varies e.g 'Jyuushiro' instead of 'Jushiro'. I do pepper my speech with japanese terms, and I use honorfics as I believe it is the polite way of speaking. e.g san, kun, chan, sama, dono, han. Also being British, you'll see 'u's in my stories also. Any British spellings or unusual words I'll provide details on.

Influences & Inspiration:

Various movies and books such as The Dark Knight, Atlas Shrugged, The Departed, The Godfather, Various British Films, Pirates of the Carribean, Books by Sam Bourne (author), Books by Terry Pratchett (author), The Fountain Head, J.R.R Tolkein, LOTR. Films & books which show strong characterization, development and psychological themes. Directors such as Michael Bay, Michael Mann, Christopher Nolan, Steven Spielberg, David Cronenberg, Martin Scorcese, Gore Verbinski etc. Guys who know what they are doing. If Mann, Bay & Nolan made a film, it would be THE GREATEST FILM ever made. Trust me.

Lastly, when writing, I try to make initial premises of my fics interesting as possible and try not to borrow too much from other works. When writing humour, I like playing the situation in my head and thinking "Is this something this character would do?" and see if it turns out funny. When being serious on the subject, well it all depends. Me and my friends talk situations over and over to we decide what's best. In short, always talk to a friend when you're stuck with a piece of writing as they can help you a lot.

Concerning reviews and such, I can take criticism and advice. I'm always aspiring to do better. Take note when writing humour, I am NEVER serious. If you're gonna say that my grammer's messy or I don't use proper spellings, then go right ahead. Remember, this is SLAPSTICK and it's not SUPPOSE to be serious. Just watch something like South Park, Family Guy etc. It's ridiculous and slapstick, it's never serious.

5th November 2009: Okay, it's been many months. A lot of stuff has happened, but please be patient! Something will be here soon. Also updated some information below slightly.

12th January 2009: It's 2009! And I've made a New Years Resolution to actually publish and finish something! I appreciate all the feedback and criticism you give me, so please do review any stuff if I upload it!

12th November 2008: Crap, is it really a year since I wrote at least anything!? Exams are coming up, Gears 2 just got released and now I'm asked, can I be bothered with anything at all? I'm sorry if I disappoint anyone but y'know, life does suck most times...

2nd September 2008: What can I say? More fics from me will be coming! My Desire will resume at the end of the month, along with a new NaruSaku fic, a Sonic fic and a one shots involving Yu-Gi-Oh GX, SAW, Kane & Lynch, Alone in the Dark & Fullmetal Alchemist! Check back soon!

7th June 2008: It's been awhile since I last reported on here. My school year is almost over, and I'm continuing with my works as usual. Keep checking back here for more info!

3rd February 2008: I'm back (yet again), and I will get to work on my fics slowly. I don't like rushing, but I don't like delaying. I hope I don't end up with another situation like The Year of The Dog, which I left for ages, then just rushed to finish it for Xmas. So, I'll work in my own time, just please stayed tuned for what happens!

24th January 2008: One month into 2008, and my PC crashes. I didn't like my Countdown idea, so I've deleted it. I'll resume work on My Desire, as soon as I can. During time, I'll probably be playing Burnout 5 & Devil May Cry 4. See ya soon!
