Author has written 4 stories for Song of the Lioness, and Harry Potter. No one mourns the wicked And Goodness knows -Wicked the musical, by Stephen Schwarz I'm a high school student from Canada, who spends way too much time on the Internet. I currently only write fanfic for Harry Potter- I dabbled in Tamora Pierce for a little while, but it couldn't hold my attention. I currently have one completed fic, which on reflection was pretty cliche-laden, but for a first fic not too bad. I'm also writing another, Post- OotP story, entitled "traitorous", which I'm quite happy with right now- it's Dark!Harry, and I had to make use of a few cliches, but once you get past the first few chapters it's fairly original. I ship...anything, to be honest. I'm not too wild about H/G right now, just because of how much of it there is-though there is not doubt in my mind that it is canon, as is R/Hr. Currently I'm amusing myself with Harry/Luna, though there's no way it's going to happen...and aside from that, anything goes-I have significantly higher standards for slash, simply because it can be really awful if done badly. My favorite character, though I am hated for it by many, is Severus Snape. My theory on him is that he's on neither side: he's working for himself, playing both sides against each other, so that when they both weaken each other enough, Snape can come out on top... I have a HUGE problem with people who didn't like Half-Blood Prince- namely, those who claim they "don't consider it canon" or "think it isn't as good as some fanfiction". For Gods' sake, if it's written by JK Rowling, it is canon. End of story. Don't tell me that some fanfic writer can write JKR's world better than she can herself. That's practically hubris. And pretty stupid and arrogant, besides. Most of the people I see claiming this can't write worth a damn anyway- I don't normally flame, but anti-JKR authors really make me want to... Yeah, that was just my little rant. So, go ahead and read one of my fics, and leave a review, please, if you like it. | |||||||
