Story Stats

Ruby Eyed Angel: Meh, name's a work in progress. Basically, it takes place after the manga, when Ed is about 26. Al's got his body back, and Ed doesn't really have much going on other than State Alchemist duties when he finds this kid getting beat up in an alley. It turns out that the kid is not only Ishbalan (I have a legitimate reason, so don't get all 'ZOMG GARY SUE' on me), but he's a chimera. It was inspired a lot by Maximum Ride, with a lot of hypothetical alchemy stuff, and... What's this? Parental!Ed? Shocking. I don't know if I'll write it or not. xP I've been toying with it, though, so who knows.

Escape: I'm working on this exclusively, along with perhaps a few one-shots, at the moment.

Author's Notes

October 19, '08: I know, it's been a while. I was doing some revamping on my profile, so I figured I'd put something here. Anyway, the next part of Escape is almost finished, so yay for that! Aside from that, I now have a Deviant account under the same name as I have here. Right now, the only thing I have up besides Escape is a rather bad sketch of Tasha, but feel free to take a look anyway.

I'm participating in NaNoWriMo this month, too, so come November, I'm going to be super busy. I'm almost dreading it, and yet not, because I really like the idea I have for a novel. With any luck, I'll make 50k! Good luck all you other people getting involved!

September 21, '08: Wow! It's been almost a month, but quite a bit has happened. First off, I have a new laptop. Brand-spanking-new. Essentially, my grandma got my cousin a car (and a nice one at that), but she wanted to get me something, too, and it is, literally, sitting on my lap right now. I also got a printer/scanner, which is very nice. What does this mean? More working on stories, of course. I've finished Chapter Ten of Escape, but I won't be posting it until, as stated before, I finish the next capture, which I anticipate will be about three chapters total. It aught to be worth the wait, though. ;D Also, I recently started getting into Deviant Art (recent as in yesterday). My profile is my new homepage, so click if you want to check it out. All that's really up right now are chapters of Escape, but I did post a sketch of Tasha, too, if you want a look at it. As more stuff happens, I'll probably add more sketches of OCs, and maybe a few of Ed and/or Al if I can get any better at drawing the two of them.

I also read the new FMA chapter last weekend. Good stuff. I really like Lan Fan's automail. 'Tis pwnzorz. I'm beginning to think I just like automail in general, since if I am ever watching something random where a character just happens to have a robotic arm (this happened while watching Ben 10 one morning, if you're wondering), I get a bit geeky and excited about it. xD

On a note-so-good note, October, and basketball, is fast approaching. Don't get me wrong, I love basketball, but it takes up so much of my free time. Ah well, with no PE this year, I need the exercise. As it is, I need to go out and do stuff before it starts to get myself built up, so I'm not completely exhausted fifteen minutes into the first practice.
