Author has written 6 stories for Lord of the Rings. Mae Govannen fellow writers and fanfic readers! I have always created stories in my imagination and LOTR has been a recurring theme since my mother read it to me when I was five in 1971. I don't know what I would do if there was no Middle Earth! Early on I decided that all the stories that captured my imagination existed in one universe at one time. I needed some characters who would tie them all together, and who better than a group of gypsy-like refugees whose home no longer exists? And so the survivors of Alderaan from the Star Wars universe - those that were off planet when the Death Star attacked - became my ambassadors between the worlds. There are many yet-unwritten tales in my mind of the adventures of these travelers, but my interest in alternate worlds began with Middle Earth. As my Alderaani began to find new homes and new lives for themselves it seemed entirely proper that my most loved original character would find herself walking through a gateway somewhere in the Westemnet of Rohan. My tales were only shared verbally with a handful of friends over the years, but I began actually writing fiction and fanfiction about three years ago when one of those friends became ill (as a gift for her). Recently, I have begun to actually think of myself as a writer and now I work for a home decorating/lifestyle magazine. I have no illusions that my work will ever be considered high art, but I love telling stories. I hope if in all this wonderful assortment of fanfiction you happen to stumble across my offerings, that you will enjoy them. They are crafted with love! I'll be seeing you where all adventures begin and end . . . the round green door of Bag End. Namarie & Namaste, Elfriend67 | |||||||||
