Author has written 3 stories for Inuyasha, and Phantom of the Opera. Hiya! My name's meangenius (not really). I'm a writer. Duh. I'm fifteen - about to turn sixteen, yay! - and I live in Atlanta. I write constantly, but I don't always finish what I write, so I don't like to publish anything until I'm sure I'll end it eventually. I wrote for a long time before I discovered ff.net, and now that I've got an opportunity to publish stuff, I'm trying tostart finishing things. I like praise... who doesn't? But what I like even more is people who tell me what I should do to get better. I'm not saying I like to be flamed, but I wouldn't want to write a terrible story and not know because people didn't want to make me feel bad by not pointing out everything I did wrong. If you see a problem, please say so, and I can fix it and maybe learn a little from you. I love writing, and I believe it comes from someplace deep inside people. I take all writing seriously, and consider the written word to be man's greatest achievement. If a future society was to look back on us and remember just one thing, out of everything we have and ever have had, I would want it to be our literature. There's some beautiful stuff out there, and my dream is to contribute to it. After all, some things only live for so long before dying out, but words can stick around forever. Yeah, as you can see, I like to get all melodramatic. I'm fond of the type of writing that's acknowledged by many as "You can type like that, but no one ever talks like that." I like to write in a slightly old-fashioned way. Maybe that's why I like Inuyasha, and Lord of the Rings, stuff that takes place in the past. I'm not as good at writing in a modern way. I just don't think it's as beautiful, and it's harder for me to do. So, having droned on for what feels like forever (if I wasn't so used to typing all the time I'd say my fingers were exhausted), you still know next to nothing about me as a kid. I guess I'm average. I go to high school, do my homework, etc. I have brown hair, brown eyes, kinda boring. I'm a girl (I always forget that you can't tell unless I say so). I'm not that pretty, and I'm not all that popular. I'd rather be curled up reading or writing than getting a manicure while talking on my cell phone. If you knew me, you'd have a spontaneous heart attack and die if you saw me doing that. I like Inuyasha all right - my favorite pairings are InuKag, SessKag, and MirSan. I love - LOVE - Sesshie, and he's the major reason I keep reading the manga. I love Phantom of the Opera, and I've seen it about a zillion times. I detest Raoul (grr... the fop!) and love Erik. I love Lost, although I still haven't seen the entire second season. I just bought it for my iPod, though, so I'll finish it soon. Woot! iTunes rocks out loud! Hm... what else... I like X-Men and Lord of the Rings and Spiderman and all those movies. Oh, and Harry Potter. I love to read classics, like The Three Musketeers (I love Dumas) and The Catcher in the Rye and The Once and Future King. Classics rule. Except Charles Dickens' books. I didn't like Great Expectations at all. We had to read it in freshman year in high school. Yeah. Anyway, I think that's enough... Thanks for reading, and enjoy my stories. Review, bitte! (Yeah, I speak German. It's fun! 'bitte' means 'please'.) One more thing - check out my sister's account. She's writing a Lost fanfiction, and I think it's basically done. It's really good. It's about a group of students who win a cruise because they find a cure for the bird flu, and (gasp) their ship crashes on the island. They figure out the secrets of the island, together with the Flight 815 survivors, and they eventually get off. The coolest part is that Hurley buys the island in the end! It's Skate and Chellie (Chellie = Charlie + Ellie, an original character). Bye! ~ meangenius ~ | |||||||
