Hello, my name is Kristi and I have just turned 21. I have remained the same shy and somewhat endearingly awkward woman from the United States I have always been, maybe just a bit older and wiser... dashing, roguishly-handsome, perhaps with a beard... Oh, what? I'm just... embellishing, making myself a bit more interesting for the populous, you know... I wonder what having a beard would be like...?

I have renamed myself many times here: AnimationWickedRaven, AnimationRaven and WickedRaven. I thought this new penname to be a bit more personal. I have been a part of fanfiction since I was in middle school, so this is nothing new for me. I wrote Teen Titans fiction back in the day.

Well, about my writing preference: I focus on telling tales about love because it is something I have always dreamed of having. However I never quite got it right unfortunately, so I write about the hundreds of scenarios that plague my brain on a daily basis. The hardest part with my fiction is deciding which character goes through which scenario... Well, that and somehow writing steamy bits without nose-bleeding innocently all over my laptop, stomach tying in knots... getting struck by lightning... I tend to write humorously with a hint of sarcasm.

Eventually I would like to illustrate some scenes, maybe the entire stories in comic book form... That's mighty ambitious, I suppose, but I'm flowing with ideas lately!

Now that the semester is starting up, I won't be updating as frequently as every few days or so. I'll try and make Fridays my update night for some consistency. Even if no one reads, I'll continue writing for fun. :)

Both of the stories I have contain main characters who have some qualities I possess, so I know how to feel if they need to feel something. but with different aspects of my personality and a few quirks of their own.

Once Upon A Blight: Krista Cousland is shy and a bit naive when it comes to romance, so she tries to hide it with humor and speaking of things she's heard. Romantic feelings confuse her. After one really terrible experience (which you won't know about until later), she wholeheartedly believes "men will always hurt you, no matter what because they are after one thing." She cannot lie or talk her way out of anything to save her life; she confuses herself in the process hopelessly or gives it away somehow. Her biggest phobias are: death and blood, odd for a warrior one might think, but she has never seen real combat or bloodied her hands.. well, not yet. She's conflicted and vulnerable once you really get to know her. All she wants is to find out where she belongs as a person, not just as a woman. Some things are so hard to say for her, lots of things actually... words in general, as you'll discover. Sooner or later you will see other sides beyond the whining and coldness, see the terrible temper the Highever men have seen time and time again, see her question herself, her decisions, her strength. I'm looking forward to writing it all.

Beyond the Circle: Lita Amell is a hopeless romantic, though she's a realist and won't get close unless she's absolutely sure that she's sure. She's unsure of her choices sometimes and second guesses herself as much as anyone else, though when she makes a choice she stands by it with a stone will. However, she occasionally caves and gives in to her desires from time to time, feeling conflicted. She is mostly unashamed to admit the truth and has frequent bouts of confidence. She is an excellent storyteller and can get you to believe your foot naturally grows out of your mouth with heavy convincing. She fears being alone, but knows she can handle it if she had to. She wishes all mages weren't feared just because of the screw-ups. If she ever had a daughter, she would not want her to grow up in a strict place like the Circle. She's a heavy believer in freedom and making your own choices. When it comes to demons, she does not let them tempt her with false happiness; it's just another prison to her. She is naturally devious and eventually you'll see her repressed sexual nature deliver her from shyness on the subject in the future.
