Author has written 27 stories for Harry Potter, Bleach, and Naruto. Name: Lady Salazar, just call me Sal Location: The USA. Meaning, I have American spelling, southern American grammar, and all those other loathsome habits we Americans cultivate, like laziness. Reading (at the moment): Harry Potter crossovers. Mostly HP/Stargate, HP/LotR, and the rare scan through HP/Naruto and HP/GW. I think I've lost faith in single-fandom fic at the moment, though I do read the occasional update. Admittedly, the crossover section isn't any better (and is maybe worse...) by percentage, but having a few pages of crap to skip over is a far cry from several dozen pages of crap. Ugh. Writing (at the moment): Not much at all, recently, as I've been far too busy when I have internet access, and my internet access is now severely limited. Mostly my mammoth HP/LotR twoshot when I get the chance, though recently I've been fighting off a recurrent HP/GW GS cross two shot that would probably be nearly as big a pain. Pray for me, lol. Shipping: Straight pairings. GS-straight pairings (no, this is not slash - see below). I think most pairings have potential if written correctly; the problem lies in cliche and annoying mischaracterizations rather than the characters themselves. That said, there are some I do tend to avoid on principle, thanks to the above, like H/Hr, Luke/Mara, Daniel/Vala, Naru/Saku, etc. Current favorite book: The Black Hole War by Leonard Susskind. Yes, I am a weirdo who thinks reading about quantum mechanics is a good way to pass time. And anyway, who can not find black holes fascinating? Favorite book series: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings. Both are brill. Badmouth them at your own expense. Three Facts the Yaoi Fangirls Don't Mention: 1. If my genderswitch fics are actually slash, then your mpreg fics are actually het. 2. If it's a girl with a dick, it's still a girl. 3. If you're imprinting your personality and hormones on the boy, it's not a boy anymore. See Fact Two. Current 10/3/09: Wow, it's been a while since my last update. You know the drill, I've been busy, had writer's block, life sucks, etc... Blah. Nah, I've really just been busy. Makes it harder to write as much, and given it's TNGA that I'm working on, you may think I'm having writer's block even when I'm getting it down well. I kid you not when I say it's my 'mammoth twoshot.' Maybe around a quarter done, it's already 25k+ words (going on 50 pages). I'm really hoping the rest of the story doesn't undergo the humongous growth the first bit has: before TNGA, I don't think I've ever had a story spontaneously grow so many intricate plot threads. I think it'll give readers a fun ride. If I ever finish it, lol. I've also had a HP/Gundam Wing genderswitch crossover idea pop back into my mind from the great beyond. I thought I'd managed to put it to rest for good the last time... It too is a twoshot, but the most recent incarnation has morphed a little, so I might could make it into a regular, if long, oneshot. Hopefully I can escape it again, though. The keyword here is 'long'. But damn, if I don't love the idea... ...despite that my Gundam Wing knowledge comes entirely from fanfic.
