Brina
Going by the name Brina, and chinese name Wanling, she hates it when people mispronounces her name. For anyone who is interested, her name was actually Sabrina, but her parents had felt that "Sabrina" was too much of a mouthful and shortened it. Ironically, while Brina means "protector" in Celtic, she is more inclined towards being protected. The correct way to pronounce her name is Bri-na. For people who still seem to have problems prounouncing it right, the way to go is to say "sabrina", but cutting out the "sa" part of the name. It is extremely important that her name is pronounced properly as her first impressions are made not by one's looks, talent or riches, rather by the fact on whether they could pronounce her name correctly. Her name is said to be relatively rare in the world, with statistics claiming that less than 100 people in the world in this century shares her name. Whenever she hears that, she feels more unique and special.
She is from the small tiny country by the name of Singapore, which is in the South-east region of Asia and appears as a tiny red dot next to Malaysia on the world map. She lives with her parents and a younger brother, who she prays would soon grow up and cease behaving like an ass. But she loves him for being an ass all the same. She wishes to be able to rear a dog someday, but then again, she once wished to be able to rear a lion in her room when she was eight. She currently has a hamster called Kimchi, who happens to be a male. Ironically, although her hamster was named after a Korean dish of pickled vegetables, he does not like vegetables whatsoever. She also has an old luohan fish which seems to be able to provide people with winning lottery numbers. Unfortunately, she is underage, and thus is unable to buy lottery tickets and earn a windfall.
She is vertically challenged, and hopes to have a sudden growth spurt soon, as she is tired of breathing in the exhaled air from others. She finds herself too heavy, but others tell her otherwise. A punch to the gut would be expected if you ever ask her how it is like to be down there. And, for the people she cares for, shw would not hesitate to use her taekwondo skills on those who threatens them. But, all in all, she is a peaceloving and nice person (unless she's PMS-ing, but that is altogether a different case). On November 9 2007, she will have 16 candles on her birthday cake, so guess her age then.
She likes reading and writing fanfictions, obviously prefering the former as reading does not require as much brainpower and inspiration as writing. She hates doing homework and studying, and has no idea how to cook. She burns ready-made porridge, and the oil stain on the ceiling of her kitchen is another testament on her cooking abilities. The only thing that she can cook right is instant cup noodles. Even so, she still has the ability to spill boiling water on herself, although not very often. She loves watching anime, and is known to spend days fixated on the computer screen watching episode by episode. She once took part in an anime-watching marathon, where she watched anime episodes from Naruto for twenty two hours without stopping. She hates running and physical activities on the land in general, but is perfectly at home and happy in the water.
She likes writing about herself in the third party way of writing, which is probably why she is doing precisely that right now. She enjoys meeting new people and making new friends. Self-described as sociable, she gets very bored when nobody talks to her. If stranded in a desert, she will most likely die first from the boredom of not having anyone to talk to, rather than from hunger and thirst. She does not discriminate, and is not at all homophobic. As long as one is not a murderer/kidnapper/piece of shit/generally having malicious intents towards her, they are all welcome to be her friend. Anyone interested in adding her on livejournal (where she generally rants, rants and rants some more) can add her at brina_mezzaluna.
Sheryl
Hello everyone! Unlike my weird cousin above, I like to write about myself as the first party, so I shall. :D Basically, my full name is Sheryl Tan Li Ling, Sheryl being my English name, and Li Ling being my Chinese name. Do address me as "Sheryl" though, as if you call me by my Chinese name, I may not respond. Nobody calls me by my Chinese name anymore, anyway.
Basically, I'm a Singaporean, but currently studying in America. :) Currently, I have two aquariums of fish (since the landlord doesn't allow dogs and cats), and I'm thinking of having another aquarium. Rearing fishes and watching them swim aound is pretty therapeutic. Brina unfortunately, does not understand the joys of rearing fish, she gets bored easily. Sigh. Shopping is yet another hobby of mine, and whenever there's a sale, I will be there :D Also, in the few times where I return to Singapore to visit, I drag unwilling Brina out for an entire day of non-stop shopping. It's fun!
I am the editor of all our stories. How do we get our ideas and how do we write our stories? You may ask. Well, the former is done by stuffing ourselves with chocolates and ice cream, generally, by getting on a sugar high. Sugar high gives us plot bunnies nods Brina then writes the stories, and I edit it for mistakes and add in any details into the story. (Of course, there are some which I miss out by accident. Forgive me.) The overall product is then uploaded on fanfiction.net. :)
I'm born on July 23rd, and when my birthday passes this July, I will have 21 candles on my cake. Guess my age then :)
Did you know?
1. Brina and Sheryl are related, they are cousins. Sheryl is the older (and more immature!) cousin.
2. Brina was introduced to Naruto by a group of Naruto-mad (or should we say, Sasuke-mad) fans in her class! She later persuaded Sheryl to watch the episodes. Now both of them are heavily addicted to both Bleach and Naruto... withdrawal symptoms are expected when they are separated from the com for too long... XP
3. Brina and Sheryl chat about once a week on MSN to write the story, thus the once a week update. Brina's the very lazywriter who types out the chapters, Sheryl is the editor and all drafts must first pass through her before it is rewritten by Brina again to be published.
4. Sheryl's birthday is on July 23, the same day as Sasuke. Brina's birthday is on November 9, which, to her disappointment, no handsome jaw dropping-hot male shares.
5. Both Brina and Sheryl are hopeless romance saps, which kinda explains why all fanfictions co-written are all under the romance genre. They often have weird plot bunnies dancing in their heads as well, which may explain for the Humour genre. Of course, in the rarities of times, they will write a serious piece.
That's all about us, we guess. If you all want to know more about us or our story plots for our stories, feel free to email us! Please review! You guys don't know how much each review means to us! I guess we practically breathe on reviews, huh? Remember, to you, it may be just one review, just the click of the blue button, but to the authors, it means a whole lot more. :))
If you are a fan of the pairing SasukeSakura (like us!) you should check this great SasuSaku site! Here's the link: http://sasusaku.twinbells.org/.
