PROFILE UPDATED: 08SEPTEMBER2007

UPDATE: For anyone reading my Jonny Quest/Resident Evil stories (which are all now back on the TRAJQ page) I can give you a quick overview of Resident Evil:

Resident Evil started as a video game on Playstation 1 and it is considered the definitive game for developing the survival horror genre. There has since been about 6 or 8 RE games that have been released. Also 2 movies have been made and a 3rd movie should be in theaters in September 2007.

Resident Evil delves into the world of bioweaponary and the corrupt corporation, Umbrella Pharmacueticals, that is developing these products. The T-virus was a man-made virus that turned humans into flesh-eating zombies, once bitten by one of these zombies the victim woud soon turn as well. (Not a new concept, I know)

The characters in my story are all mine for the most part. Of course, none of the Jonny Quest characters are mine. And in A New Nightmare, Saddler, Salazar, and the merchant are original RE characters as well. Dr. Krumlanski (When Nightmares Walk Amoungst Us), Adrain Baker and William Leland (A New Nightmare and As Nightmares End), David (A New Nightmare) and Elaine (A New Nightmare and As Nightmares End) are mine.

I started this series because I felt that who better then the Quest team to take on the Umbrella Corporation and attempt to bring them down? I mainly use Resident Evil as a backdrop for these stories and the T-virus and Las Plagas are now being combined to make my own special virus/parasite. I do not believe an in-depth knowledge of Resident Evil is required to enjoy these stories...but what do I know...I'm the writer, so of course I like them!! LOL

Now a little about myself:

I'm 30 yrs old now. I feel old. Married, no kids, two cats (Mycroft and Shade)

My name is Sigokat, in reference to my being a Signal Officer (Captain) in the US Army and currently working on my Master's Degree in Management, Homeland Security Track

I am currently serving my third tour in the Middle East...first 2 were in Iraq and now I am in Kuwait. I can't say too much about my job, but like I said before I am a signal officer, so I work with communications equipment.

Things I enjoy besides Resident Evil and Jonny Quest are:

Writing (Kind of obvious)

Music-GWAR is my favorite band but I also enjoy different types of death and black metal, but I also love classic and borque music i.e. Mozart, Vivaldi, Hayden, Beethoven, etc.

I love to read and my favorite genres are fantasy (Forgotten Realms and other D&D stuff), science fiction, horror (H.P.Lovecraft), and Sherlock Holmes.I also read a lot of non-fiction and political books and journals for my own professional development.

Other entertainment mediums I enjoy are Star Trek TOS and NG, The Thunderbirds (classic British TV show), The Twilight Zone, Dead Like Me, Law & Order, South Park, Sherlock Holmes (with Jeremy Brett)and a bunch of other I can't think of because I am currently being distracted by the radio in my office...

I enjoy classic films from the '40s and '50s with Cary Grant and Humphrey Bogart. I also like pretty much any science fiction, action, suspense, and classic horror movies. Best movie I've seen latetly would be Chronicles of Narnia.

Well, I can't think of much else to say. Like I said I am currently working on my Master's Degree so I have very little time to write between doing that and working 12+ hours every day out here.

I hope you all enjoy my stories (my Star Trek story is currently on hold...writer's block)
