Author has written 59 stories for Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Disney, Phantom of the Opera, Misc. Books, Now and Then, X-overs, Misc. Movies, Les Miserables, Ever After, Miss Saigon, Last of the Mohicans, Atonement, Macbeth, Glee, Notebook, and Tangled.

Hullo, my name is Jess and I'm about to enter my third year of university, where I shall complete my Honours in English Literature.

I am somewhat addicted to fanfiction, have been for many years, and probably will be for life. In this I am supported by an amazing group known as the Gwethil (http://www.gwethil.batcave.co.uk/), all of whom are excellent writers and even better friends.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the best writer, but I love dabbling in other people's worlds and exploring their characters; I find this gives me a greater appreciation for the original texts. Besides music and fanfiction, I adore reading, costume dramas, figure skating and musical theatre. It is, I will admit, somewhat eclectic.

My own writing is motivated by Christ, and a desire to know and understand Him better through an exploration of the human condition and human relationships. My greatest writing heroes are Margaret Atwood (that woman is virtually flawless), Marilynne Robinson, T. S. Eliot, Virginia Woolf and George MacDonald. Much as I love C. S. Lewis, and much as I think he has written near-flawless works (Till We Have Faces!), there are times I think he missteps, just a little... you can take me to task on that later, if you want. I still love the man and his works to bits.

With regards to my fics, I have recently deleted my original version of "A Mother's Musings" (winner of the 2006 Lion Award for Best Development of a Minor Character). I do still hold a manuscript of the original, and I am happy to send a copy to any of the kind people who favourited the old version. The new "A Mother's Musings" is rather more complex, both thematically and narrative-wise, but I am rather more happy with it, and I hope that you, as readers, enjoy it, too.

God bless! :)
