Plays/Musicals, Last of the Mohicans, and Atonement. Hello hello my dear friends. I'm Smoltenica, but am usually known as Jess. I don't even know why I called myself Smoltenica, but I really have no idea what else I would change my name to. I'm a 16 yr old Christian girl of Chinese descent living in Australia. God's amazing grace guides me through each day, and Jesus is my light, my salvation and my hope. His death and resurrection have given me meaning and purpose, and have helped pull me out of the darkest moments in my life. God has blessed me with a passion for music, and, thanks to His grace, I now hold a diploma in both the piano and the pipe organ. I really don't know what I want to do when I'm older, but I think studying the pipe organ in France or Germany would be pretty damn awesome. Music is also very useful for procrastinating, as practicing the organ/piano gives me a very valid reason to not do my homework. Muahaha. Besides music, I spend far too much time procrastinating. I adore reading, watching movies, eating, and writing. And eating. Malaysian food is the best. I have also found myself ridiculously addicted to word games. My favourite authors are C. S. Lewis, Jane Austen, L. M. Montgomery, and Margaret Atwood. My favourite films are Anne of Green Gables (it chokes me up each time!), Ever After, Pride and Prejudice (I know it's a miniseries, but who cares?), Les Choristes, Amelie, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Thank you for Smoking, and Anchorman.
