| Jedi Knight Padme |
Author has written 5 stories for Fairy Tales, Treasure Island, Misc. Books, and Kingdom of Heaven. Hey there, people! Okay... so... what to say? I'm a Canadian teenager who loves to read and write (well, obviously, otherwise I wouldn't be here... ~rolls eyes at self~). I ~used~ to be obsessed with Star Wars, but over time it's faded to become more of an interest than an obsession. Although I still think that Padme is/should be Force-sensitive and should totally have some Jedi training (hence my username). Anyway, I love reading fanfiction, and I have several fandoms. Usually I go through phases with my fandoms, when I'm suddenly obsessed with a certain book/movie/character(s)/theme, during which time I try to read up all that I can on it/them, and when I'm not reading up on them, I'm making up stuff in my head about them (pathetic, lame, super embarassing stuff...). Here's a list of fandoms that I either used to read or am currently reading: Star Wars: Comedy and parody! There are some amazingly hilarious ones on this site, several are listed under my Favourite Stories. Go read them. Anakin/Padme; Obi-Wan/Siri, and sometimes Obi-Wan/OCs are okay too; Qui-Gon/Shmi and Qui-Gon/Tahl. Harry Potter: I like reading comedy, parody, and romance fics, usually one-shots. I used to read series by Kerichi, such A Tale of Two Matchmakers; Simply Irresistably; Don't Call Me Daddy; and Once In A Blue Moon. However, I've stopped reading them for a while now because I've got less time to kill on the computer, not to mention that my interests have moved elsewhere. I prefer Draco/Ginny and Hermione/Ron pairings, and occasionally Harry/Ginny, if it's reeeeeaaaallllyyyy well written, and I also enjoy Dumbledore/McGonagall. I am also personally in love with Fred and George Weasley. The Lord of the Rings: Comedy and parody rock, but I hate too much sexual 'humour' and slash pairings. PIRATES! Arrr, matey! What's not to love about pirates? I especially love stories about female pirates - if you're as into them as I am, I recommend an awesome book, The Sweet Trade, a historical fiction about Anne Bonney and Mary Read. It seriously rocks! I am also in the process of writing a pirate story myself, a sequel to Treasure Island, and the first few chapters are posted online. It's a work in progress which I started three years ago and is taking very long because I only write when I have the time and when I feel like it. The Phantom of the Opera! I read the book a while ago, and also saw the movie. Loved them both. Raoul-bashing is hilarious. I adore Erik/Meg Giry fics...it's a cute pairing, and Christine is sort of stupid... Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka scared the ~~~~ out of me when I was younger, but upon watching the movie again later on in life, I found myself being creepily attracted to him. Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka was also very scary to see; he made me think of child molesters. ~Shudders~ But there are some really good fics with Depp as WW that aren't creepy, but cute. Kingdom of Heaven: I think the movie's plot was rather lame, and Orlando Bloom was boring as Balian, but I totally fell in love with the unnamed Mullah dude (also referred to as Mullah Khalid), with whom I continue to have an obsession with today. There are two really, really good KoH fanfics: One called "The Path to Heaven", which is now my favourite fanfic ever, 'cuz the main character is my Mullah; and the other is called, "Gentle, the Night", which is now my second-favourite fic! Amazing. Go read them. Veronica Mars: I LOVE the show! Even though I've only watched, like, 5 episodes of it. I'm in love with Eli "Weevil" Navarro. WeeVer fics are good, Weevil/Mac fics are also good... heck, anything with Weevil is awesome! If anyone wants a plot bunny for a Weevil fic, here's one that's been bouncing around my head for a while: A new girl shows up at school... she's a biker chick named Angel. Big brown eyes, long loose brown curls... she and Weevil clash at first, stuff happens, they fall in love... and yeah. I don't have the time to write this fic myself, so anybody reading this - you're officially given permission to take the bunny and use it. But I'd appreciate it if you credit me, or at least PM me to let me know you liked the idea and are going to use it. Ummm...I think that's about it for now...I don't have much else to say, except read and review my stuff (pretty please)! If you do, I'll love you forever! Oh, and if you have time, please go here because that's where my friend has some stuff of his posted, and right now I'm writing a joint story with him...it's called 'Of Idiots and Coffins' (or 'On Idiots and Coffins'; I can't remember) and FUNNY! I'm in it (the character Zany Z is based on my split personality), which makes it all the better! Read and review that too! Take care y'all, read and review my stuff, and that's it for now... toodles! | |||||||||
