Name: Not tellin', but I go as Rin Rabble in the virtual world.

Nickname: Rin. People are always going: "Oh, you named yourself after so-and-so character from ANIME!" Well, sorry to disappoint, but I ended up with the nickname way back when the only anime I was aware of was Pokemon and DBZ. (laughs) Pretty pathetic, ne?

Gender: female, swinging either ways, like a defective door. XD

Occupation: At the moment I am out of High School, and have stopped Uni for a few years due to long-going health problems. I am still working out proper medication dosages, and have upped one of my pills sixfold, doubled another. The former pill makes me sleep until waaay past noon, and will do so until I get used to it. Don't worry though, it's nothing I'm going to die from.

Hobbies: Spending excessive hours reading fanfics, reading, writing, listening to rock or jazz music, martial arts, singing in the choir at mah fabulous church, and long hikes in the crazy!giant'ravine!awesome'creek!woods behind my house. Cleaning houses, my wonderful job. Oh yeah, and spending two thirds of each day doped up to my eyeballs.

ETERNAL OBSESSION: Get Backers, BanxGinji. It should also be noted that I have a long-going adulterous affair with everything Zelda Oot.

CURRENT OBSESSION: On a major Zelda kick. Many fic ideas that SHOULD have been written last year are being written. Huzzah!

LATEST DISCOVERY: Doctor Who...ate my soul. (smacks self) Get back to work on LoZ:CotS, bitch!

Fav. Movies: Lots. I like anything that either makes me think thoughtful thoughts, or breaks my ribs. Monty Python almost killed me. Literally. (I was eating B&J's choc. chip cookie dough and choked on a chuck 'a the stuff. Hit my dad to get his attention. Was Heimlich Maneuver'ed. It wasn't fun.)

Fav. Animes: Again, lots. Especially Get Backers, Naruto, Black Jack, Saiyuki, and Fullmetal Alchemist.

ISSUES: Okay, there's something that really gets on my nerves. So lemme vent, dagnabbit!

WHY is Ban Midou (Get Backers) everyone's man whore? I mean, really. Let's examine some of the pairings.

Ban x Himiko = feels like incest, even if not genetic Teh 'grand delusion ship' of Get Backers.

Ban x Kazuki = if he's gay, make him GAY! The only reason why people slap Kazu-chan and Ban together is because Kazuki looks like a girl. If you pay attention, there's not really any interesting interaction between the two. So far I've seen them exchange two lines in the course of 8 episodes. Not to mention that the Juubei x Kazu pairing is pretty much implied in the series (it's even addressed directly in manga # 10).

Ban x Akabane = okay, ew. I think Ban's trying NOT to go down that path of darkness.

Ban x Shido = I have no idea what people are thinking with this one. Ahem! That Shido and Madoka are a couple is not an implication, it's a fact! This is a classic example of a yaoi cut-and-paste-pairing. Besides, they'd kill each other before long.

Ban x Fudou = I am such a huge hypocrite. I wrote a fic for a pairing I can't stand. But I can see this, in a one-sided way. There is nothing romantic or soft about this pairing, in fact, I highly doubt it is anything but non-consentual. I think it explains, in a way, Fudou's obession with Ban. Of course you should know me enough by now to understand that I am a hopeless sucker for BanxGinji, and will not stand for anything else. I dunno, maybe this is just a reflection of my hankering for creepy, unpleasant angst?

Ban x HEVN = Blah I say to you. BLAH. She JIGGLES. Like Jello. Even I, who enjoys the female form just as much as the male, find myself sortof turned-off. Nah. If I want big boobs I'll leer at Tsunade with Jiraiya. Besides, she cheats Ban out of too much money.

Another set of issues that get on my nerves are certain Naruto pairings.

Naruto-Hinata = I really don't understand why this ship has so much clout when Naruto still thinks of her as "that shy freaky-eyed girl". I don't hate her, but this seems like a dysfuntional relationship. She's just too quiet. She'd never get a word in, Naruto would always be talking, and I think his personality would bulldoze over hers. He's so assertive and communicative, and I don't think Hinata could work up enough mettle to hold her own. (Unlike Sakura, who wouldn't hesitate to put him through a wall. Lol.) She's so subtle, that I think a lot of what she says would probably go right over Naruto's head. This is why I prefer to pair her with more observant characters like Sasuke or Neji.

Lee-Sakura = After a while, I can't take too much of this ship. I sort of always saw this as a way for fans to avoid pairing Sakura with Sasuke or Naruto. That and I like Lee and the NaruSaku pairing too much, so maybe it's just the jealous fangurl in me.

Sasuke - Sakura = This is what I call 'the grand delusion' of the Naruto series. An outsider might easily think so, after only reading the first volume or two. You'd have to violate all sorts of canon to make it work (and be realistic). You'd have to completely change MAJOR parts of his personality, and frankly, Sakura is too smart to end up with him. There ain't a rabid obsession anymore, folks, and I can't see her keeping that obsession after everything Sasuke's done. His leaving/betrayal was kind of like reality slapping her in the face and yelling "The bastard has left the building!" And Sakura's too sexy for him.

Kakashi, with any woman = I'm under the unshakeable conviction that he is most certainly gay. It's the only explaination for how he can read his Icha Icha all the time and not go around with a hard-on on a semi-permanent basis. Cuz let's face it, only girls can get away with being horny in public. That and he's so. Fraggin. HAWT with Obito and Iruka that it just sorta all comes together. Gai's reaction is also a factor too= he's in his SPRINGTIME OF YOUTH AND STRAIGHTNESS. And we all know Kakashi was giving Obito the eye way back when. Ah, lover's spats and teen denial...

Naruto Fics I Would Dearly Love to See Written:

NarutoxRuroKen = Kakashi somehow gets sent into the Bakumatsu, and is awesome.

NarutoxGetBackers = Ban and Ginji (and possibily a few others from GB) wind up in Naruverse, and everyone is all OMG new kekkei genkai, and Ban's DOUJUTSU!

And most of all, a long, well-written/developed Tobi is memorylessObito! fic with loads of interaction with Kakashi. I know everyone is all like, "Nuu! It's bad!" because supposedly it makes all of Kakashi's delightful character growth pointless, which is a piece of shit, if you ask me. Just think. A fic like that would force us (& Mister Hatake) to examine whether the difference is actually growth, or some bizarre excuse. I'd love to see Kakashi forced to deal with a reason for years of behavior blown away, and everyone around him (including Tobi) being forced to deal with Kakashi regressing back to bratty behavior around Tobi, all whilst being totally unware of the past. Haha. GIMME!

CURRENT PROJECTS: (...As those are the only ones that ever get done. All of these I have at least a large paragraph saved in Word, and fully intend to complete.)
